Mark just sort of, um, bodyslammed the door, and intends to knock the whole thing off its hinges. I didn't say it worked, though, yet, I kind of wanted to leave the possibility open and also give Harley-mun some reaction space.

If the door opens out, though (I'd figured it opened inward, but I guess it could be either) it'd hit him in the face, since he's in the lead. I'd rather it didn't.
