He sure would. XD But yeah, it'd be interesting to see what would happen with that, since he'd have to explain quite a lot to some people. And if the growth was too quick, his body would probably break down eventually, due to weak bone structure or something. Seeing as how everyone else in his family is like...six feet tall.
