CHARACTER PLOT POST: Night 43

This is the official Lounge post for players who want to plan out specific Nightshift threads ahead of time in order to foster desired kinds of interaction and character development. Allow us to stress that SCHEDULING THREADS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.

Please use the following template when commenting. We suggest bolding important points so that people who are scanning the post can get a quick idea of what you're looking for. You might also want to use the usernames of the characters whose attention you want so that people can easily ctrl+F to find things relevant to their interests. Your request can range from as vague as "I want my character to make new friends!" to as specific as "I want my character to thread with a megalomaniacal antagonist, if possible."

Interaction/Development Wanted: Sam's decided it's a good idea to go up to the second floor alone. It'd be cool if he could bump into someone on the way.

Character: Jun Kurosu
Interaction/Development Wanted: Right now, he's going to try and get a general sense of what nightshift is like, since it's his first time. Since he's been told that weapons are a good idea, he'll probably head to the Activity Shed but since he doesn't know his way around, that's just a general direction; I'm flexible.
When: Any time?

Character: Kaworu
Interaction/Development Wanted: I have absolutely no idea what I am doing with Kaworu this nightshift. He has no plans, and he's still pretty messed up from his visitor shift with Shinji. But, uhm, there were some people who mentioned in passing wanting to do threads with me and I WOULD LOVE TO RP WITH ANY OF YOU. I'D BE STARSTRUCK, REALLY. ♥_♥
When: All nightshift or whenever's convenient?

Character: Howl
Interaction/Development Wanted: Howl is still teaming up with L, last I knew. They're meeting in the hallway below the patient rooms so Howl can go deface a doorway. THIS IS REALLY JUST FOR REFERENCE AND CONFIRMATION.

Character: Jamie and his headvoice
Interaction/Development Wanted: I'm up for anything, though he could probably stand to learn how to ensure his face does not get eaten off by monsters, because he is a feeb. Random exploring/building CR is great too.
When: Aaaaaall niiiight loooooong.

Character: Raz
Interaction/Development Wanted: Well, Raz is going off to have a duel with Sho Minamimoto sometime during Nightshift, but it's not going to be at the start. So in the meanwhile, it would be super-special-awesome if Raz finally meets up with and befriends someone that isn't a sociopath, because so far it's been Psychotic Two-Faced Lady, Crazy Math Reaper Dude, and Overweight Immortal Dictator... and from what I've read about Raz's roommate, that guy isn't going to really help. >A> Also, Sho-mun, do you know approximately how long would it take for him in RL time to gather up his trash for his sculptures? We might also need to figure out if we want to plan out the fight or if we should just improvise... I dunno, I'm new at this. XD
When: In the beginning for starters, then we'll see from there. I also don't know if the duel's going to last the entire Nightshift, so I might be available after that. *shrug*

Character: Lockdown
Interaction/Development Wanted: He's mostly gonna be weapon hunting. He might also be keeping an eye out for Starscream, just in case.
When: Lockdown is gonna spend a couple of "in-game hours" with HK-47 at the start of the night, then he's quite free.

I'm also going to use this to call out to those I think I already have plans with. >_>

Yousuke is meeting up with his good buddy Souji, Sai... may be meeting with canonmates? Leon may be waiting around for Haseo? I think Matt and Edward are going to ~~terrorize~~ ~~sparkle~~ meet up?

Athy? Gale and Heat y/n? Someone tell me if I'm wrong! DX

Character: Callisto
Interaction/Development Wanted: Absolutely anything. She's in a good mood. She'll probably grab someone and drag them around with her. Or they can follow on her own. She really has no plans.
When: any time

Character: Manfred von Karma

Interaction/Development Wanted: Ideally, someone who has no objections (LOL bad pun) to his wanting revenge on Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright... or better yet, willing to assist him in that endeavor. He might also need to go supply/weapon/information-gathering, so someone willing to accompany him ~~and act as a meat shield~~ would be good, too.

When: Mid to late NS (has to be after Franziska is finished investigating him for the night). May need to backthread, so someone amenable to that would be ideal.

I think Abe was interested in meeting him at some point. There can be a happy heroic psychic party.

Would you possibly be interested in a Luffy meeting up with your Kaworu? He doesn't have any plans, either, so maybe they could go exploring or something like that? :D?

Sure! That would be great! :DDD Kaworu really hasn't seen much of the building at all.

Character: Kagura (of the Gintama variety)
Interaction/Development Wanted: She would love to punch something. Anything. Monsters are nice. General running around at night and meeting/helping people is good too... or we could make a run for the kitchen. o//

Character: Randal Oland
Interaction/Development Wanted: MEATSHIELD FOR RENT. He's going out to see if the monsters are real. But really, meatshield for rent.

Random: Let it be known that I suffer from temporary weekday internet death unless the rumor that we can leech free coffee shop wi-fi from our area is true o//

Character: Lockon Stratos (Neil Dylandy)
Interaction/Development Wanted: This is my first nightshift, so I don't have much concrete planned yet. The only certain plans so far: Lockon will get lost at first, end up in the girls' hallway, and meet Tsubaki. After that, he will get properly redirected and head over to meet with Allelujah for the night, hopefully also seeing Setsuna and Feldt as well.

There are two other things I'd like, at some point during the night:

1) I'd like to have a chance, sometime during the night, for him to show his berserk rage-filled side. This can be accomplished by bringing up anything that smacks of terrorism. So if you've got a character with that kind of association, let me know.
2) I'd like him to learn about the possibility of getting real weapons--specifically, guns--so if you have a character who's been successful at that, it'd be cool if Lockon could talk to them and get some hope and/or tips.

When: Any time after the initial stuff I already have planned.

... Random exploring/building CR all night long you say? *chin stroke*

Would Jamie and his headvoice like a Kanji? He's a social retard who always looks like he's angry and he isn't very bright... and he has no clue what to do with himself here. But he wants to be helpful... somehow. To someone. :| *will understand if you say no*

EDIT: He can also tell Jamie all about how to KICK THINGS IN THE FACE and SMACK THINGS WITH CHAIRS if that helps any.

I'm going to state further below that I don't mind if L meets people, but we don't want it to get too hairy!

Character: Giovanni (

sixtyeighth)
Interaction/Development Wanted: Uh, this is my first nightshift ever, so I'm gonna need to have Gio do two basic things: have his first run-in with a monster, and then find some sort of weapon (or more than one weapon). If anybody wants to help or hinder him, I'd love to schedule something. He's definitely going to be out and about, killin' things and kickin' ass, so it'd probably be easy for people to bump into him, literally or figuratively.
When: Whenever - I think a couple days from now IRL, I'm going to be having him meeting up with Badou (and possibly Alkaid, depending on if Alkaid's gonna be following Badou), but other than that, the schedule is clear.

Character: Grell Sutcliff
Interaction/Development Wanted: Grell is pretty much looking for someone to entertain him, but someone who does not care about his real personality. He'd want to kill himself if he had to act like the butler all night. He has a chainsaw, but will be needing oil and gas for it, so possibly a trip to the gardening shed?
When: Anytime; he's free all night

Character: Fai D. Flourite
Interaction/Development Wanted: Anyone who wants to drag Fai around with them at night. He'll possibly poke his head out for a bit, but doesn't have any plans for the night.
When: Preferably close to the start of NS if they're going to run into him. But he's free all night.

For the most part, L already has plans with Howl: they're going to walk around, and Howl is going to attempt to create an escape portal, while L is going to be... bemused. They're meeting in the hall at the beginning of NS.

I am a little concerned about him having nothing except a swift kick and a flashlight to defend himself with, though, so if there's any possible way to address that, I'd like to try to work it in! I think he will eventually be interested in the Cooking Club, but getting him more info about it didn't work out schedulewise in dayshift -- probably next dayshift. We're both OK with them picking up a third character for a while at some point.

Sounds good! I'm totally cool with a third person tagging along or bumping into them or something if it comes up.

~~Eeeexcellent...~~ If Randal doesn't mind assisting a sociopath (that is, IF he found out vK's true nature, since vK can be civil enough when it suits his purposes), then he's definitely worthy. :3 And... since you want him to encounter a monster along the way, that can be arranged. X3

Again, this would have to be sometime after Franziska has finished searching his room. =X I doubt that should take too long, and then I can send him out and run into Randal along the way.

Don't worry. He's not that smart. He won't notice a thing. As far as he's concerned, he's guarding a dignified nobleman who has some quirks but is not menacing at all. Really~~~

And no problem. I can wait. Just ping me when you're ready.

Character: Aidou~
Interaction/Development Wanted: Because this vampire needs to om nom every once and a while to keep his tummy happy, he and I are both looking for someone to bite! Regular humans would be love. Girls would be preferable (to him), but not necessary. Basically, he'll be looking for someone alone, easily assailable, and will attack them from behind so that he won't be seen. This means that if your character's very obviously buff, armed to the teeth, or just plain menacing, Aidou won't find them a very good choice to try and bring down without a fight/risk of being identified. :( Also, he would only take enough blood for them to suffer minor effects, so no worries about it taking up a huge chunk of nightshift or incapacitating your pup.
