timedork: (A boy and his TARDIS)

Homeworld details: The Doctor's world, specifically the TARDIS (currently parked outside of Donna Noble's house in Chiswick). The TARDIS door will not act as a portal, but attempting to use the TARDIS to time travel will portal them out. All of Earth is available for scanning with the TARDIS monitors (though not for travel by foot; only the area immediately around the TARDIS would be available; they would not be able to go into Donna's house, for example), but it will be completely empty per scenario 1.

The time of their arrival will be consistent with when the Doctor left, but he and Dean will appear on Donna's porch (in the rain) instead of already inside the TARDIS.

As a side note, the inside of the TARDIS is pretty large, with only small portions of it ever shown on screen in the show. Known areas beyond the console room include living quarters, a swimming pool, library, wardrobe, a greenhouse, medical bay, and storage areas. We would appreciate the whole of the TARDIS interior be available (not that they'll necessarily go through all of it).

Item: The Doctor's sonic screwdriver, 2005-2009 version. In canon it's capable of just about anything, but upon the return to Landel's it will only be capable of the following:
- Locking/unlocking any lock other than those marked in red on the maps. (Red doors will be assumed to be "deadlock sealed" – in the Doctor's canon, the screwdriver doesn't work on deadlock seals)
- Use as an actual screwdriver, or as a wrench or nail remover (basically, it'll be able to remove screws, bolts, and nails... and like the locks, deadlock seals can counteract this ability to keep the Doctor from using it on things you don't want him to get into)
- It will remain ineffective on wood, and some hair dryers can interfere with its functionality
- If it ever possibly comes up, holding two "identical" sonic devices together has a deafening effect
- If the TARDIS were ever to appear in Landel's, he could theoretically still use it to remotely control a limited number of functions (like locking coordinates)
