CHARACTER PLOT POST: NIGHTSHIFT 51

This is the official Lounge post for players who want to plan out specific Nightshift threads ahead of time in order to foster desired kinds of interaction and character development. Allow us to stress that SCHEDULING THREADS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.

Please use the following template when commenting. We suggest bolding important points so that people who are scanning the post can get a quick idea of what you're looking for. Locke will be out and about searching for clues and getting a feel for the place, so he'll be moving around like a thief, avoiding conflict when possible because he doesn't want to deal with any of that. Maybe nab an item or two... ... ... maybe. B) Feel free to stop him, run into him, give him a punch to the face—Imeanwhat.

Mello, of course, has not asked anyone's permission, so he's just going to drag Matt along, and he's just going to tell Javert, "Hi, extra person." They'll be joining up with Search & Rescue, though if they're just hanging out waiting for a bit, Mello may try to run over to the pharmacy or janitor's closet to grab some loot.

Leela is at your disposal anytime next DS!

Character: Naruto
Interaction/Development Wanted: I'm *assuming* he's back with Sakura but IF NOT THEN HE HAS NO PLANS QUICK HELP
When: all night etc

Character: Haine
Interaction/Development Wanted: Kagura will be coming to pick up a baseball bat from him. Other than that, you know, not much going on. If you'd like to have him tag along, let me know!
When: Whenever during the night

Character: Hime
Interaction/Development Wanted: Hime's interests include the radio, rings and getting to that damn supply closet for some tools tonight. Not sure if Depth Charge wants to run what's basically a rehash of last night, but she may consider radioing him up. Otherwise, any possible new ~~underlings~~ friends would be great, since her circle of acquaintances has been rapidly shrinking of late.
When: All night long

Sounds good. Anywhere in particular you'd want them to run into each other? Or do you have a direction in mind for where Locke would head first? Edgar tore his stitches last night climbing the recreational field wall, so he's probably going to try crossing through the sun room and cafeteria to get to the courtyard.

I figure they shouldn't run into each other right off the bat- give the guy some time to acclimate to his new setting.

Sounds great! I'm sure Guybrush and Elaine will have a better time without her standing around rolling her eyes too.

Just confirming that Ilia will be with Anise all night have awesome fun!

Just wondering if you wanted them to just show off a bit with each other, explore and/or maybe meet up with a monster? Whatever you mind putting Anise through tonight is good for Ilia~

Aigis meeting with Sheena has been confirmed. She'll take the evoker but feel free to have Sheena run off to do other things if she'd rather not deal with a depressed robobabe for the entire night.

The ninja has her own issues to deal with so she'll head back into the room hallways after handing the evoker over. Sorry moebot.

I was thinking maybe they'd have an artes demonstration first, and then maybe go exploring/item-hunting/whatevs right after. A monster fight would be totally cool with me too, since getting mauled by a monster is kind of like an initiation ritual at Landel's, idk.

Character: Aigis
Interaction/Development Wanted: Aigis will be meeting with Sheena to receive Yukari's Evoker, but then she'll be free. I'm considering hiatusing her for the rest of the night if no one picks up on her but if you would like to meet a helpful robo girl or want to deepen CR please feel free to ask~ I'd rather not have her idle if possible.
When: Taken at the beginning of the NS, but free once she's done with Sheena.

Character: Damon Gant
Interaction/Development Wanted: He's meeting up with Ema Skye and Kay Faraday and will be filling in as a ~~babysitter~~ bodyguard. Mostly he just wants to confirm some info (i.e. if Ema knows the outcome of case 1-5) but he's open to all their plans. ^_^
When: All night.

Character: Ilia Silvestri
Interaction/Development Wanted: Meeting up with Anise for nighttime shenanigans! XD
When: All night.

That works! Ilia would like to see the artes for sure, so starting off with that is a good idea! And then maybe they could explore and meet a monster on the way if that happens. Lol, actually, none of my characters have come into direct contact with any monsters yet (unless you count Gant, though he walked through the portal before the zombie could really get to him ^^;)

It's cool~ Aigis isn't in much of a friendly mood either (Yukari! *sob*) so she'll be all filled with conflicting emotions and may just emo out a bit after getting the Evoker. |D

He'll probably hit the recreational field on the first turn, and then proceed to make a few more wrong turns going around a circle. :C And somehow end up in the Sun Room after a while. Maybe get a little preoccupied with the library! But eventually he'll make it to the Courtyard where he'll wander for a bit.

So they'll have similar paths! Except Edgar will know where he's going.

Not this NS, obviously, since I'm hiatusing vK for it (he has no plans and thus, no reason to leave his room that would be IC for him), but if it's okay, I kind of would like to have him travel with Gant or Aigis on a future NS at some point. Just tossing that out there in case you're interested. >.>

Yeah, the map is kind of a beast. :x

There's usually something nasty waiting in the Sun Room/Cafeteria area, so it might take him a while to cross it. They could either meet up in there, or in the Courtyard? Locke would have an easier time crossing the wall if he wants to take the Rec Field -> Courtyard route.

Or we could totally just let them wander wherever and they could jump each other first chance they do cross paths. I'm game for any sort of shenanigans.

Yeah yeah yeah! 8D I would like that too! Before I even thought of seriously apping Gant for this game, I actually kinda sorta always thought it would be fun if vK traveled around with Aigis. ^^; But I'm cool with it being either her or Gant sometime, really! Yeah, I'd really like that~ <3

Ha ha! We'll have to come up with something to get this happening~ So yeah, if Manny ever needs an escort and Taura is unavailable just hit me up and we'll figure out something! |D

Yeah idk anything about that. :( He'd probably avoid any fights, as he doesn't have anything to protect himself with. Uhhhh but I'd figure something out! I can't see him doing much of anything else but exploring, so I think we can have them meet in the courtyard (or anywhere else, really), if Locke can catch Edgar there. B)

Apologies for this all being kind of complicated- way to enter the game. XD

But yes, courtyard sounds good! Locke can catch Edgar totally not stealing that weedwhacker, and there are a few sharp things in the gardener's shed he can use to defend himself.

Not too complicated, once you sit down and think about it! I like it.

Not stealing! Just... borrowing, improving, and then intending to return it once Landel is dead. He leaves stealing for the treasure hunters.

I literally know nothing about TWEWY, and I... I can't promise she's at all easy about making friends, but YEAH we could always see what happens!! :]

He's in the M-A block, right? So... it'd probably be best for them to meet up in one of the main hall areas-- come to think of it, she may... try to ambush him, if that's alright. >_>
