If Rufus did, he'd probably keep robbing the pharmacy or something of that sort. He doesn't have a doctor as of yet.

"We need to go to the pharmacy again, Reno."
"What?! We were just there two nights ago."
"My roommate stole all our supplies."
"Damn it! I'm going to kick his arse!"

I pity Reno in so many ways. I'd be hurting by that point and making all sorts of wild plots to steal from whatever doctor smoked.
