What? Another One?

I'd like to wait for the intros to be done, but I'm trying to procrastinate to be good and update my character journals with new content. And since this is very much like a meme that is buried somewhere in the lounge past, might as well play with it again?

So. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL PEOPLE HOW YOUR CHARACTERS FEEL ABOUT THEIR CHARACTERS, post a comment with all of your characters listed. For me, that'd I'd list Homura, Tatsumi (dropped), Hiei, and Ururu since Sano is so new and has interacted with two people. Anyone can reply to any comment, including the name of the character they want to hear about, and preferably the name of the character they want to hear it from. Dropped characters may be included in both offerings and requests.

Please please please, if you have interacted with ANY of my characters, comment? I'll probably still end up going through threads, but I'd really like to have some way of double checking. And I'll totally finish this time, cause I don't think I did last time. Um. If I didn't, feel free to whack me?

And also? I totally need a "tad's boredom makes memes" tag. Or something.

Kadaj likes Okita! Hell, he even talked to Jenova (Jennifer?) about him during the visitor thing. Talking to him reminds him of talking to Yazoo, in a way, which... I think I actually stuck in one of his posts somewhere, but uh yeah. Soooo, yes. And he wants to talk to him again 'cause he seems like one of the very few people that Kadaj can actually get along with. That and Mommy said to be more social. Yes. D:

THIS SHOULD HAPPEN, YES. And also means that I should research Okita so that I don't screw something up, l-lol. But errr yes. |D Sounds fun to me~♥ Yay killer buddies. XD

I actually had a lot of trouble with out thread 'cause I wasn't sure how many of the cues you were giving about the Bride would be picked up by Light. I mean, he's a genius, but it's just godmoding (llooooooollllll *shot*) for him to automatically know she's a crazy killer type. That and I have no idea if he's seen Kill Bill, but I think it's unlikely since he's such a square. That's pretty much been my policy with him unless it's Mario Golf or something, since he actually has that game in canon.

.... ANNNNYWAY. He thinks she's unstable and knows that she's hiding something. Instability means unpredictability FOR THE MOMENT, since he's not really sure what its roots and triggers are (high possibility it's related to her daughter somehow), but should she ever somehow prove to him that she can be used in some fashion, I don't think he'd hesitate to do so, risk and all. For the moment, though... unstable, hiding something, potential threat/ally, etc. Lots of unknowns there. Need more data before proceeding in either direction.

... YES. Stuff. D:

Hmmm. Hikaru hasn't given Light any indication that he's a bad person, so he's... well, safe. I think I mentioned this the last time we did a meme like this, but Light also feels the need to associate with him in order to keep up the facade of normalcy, even if it is still going to be on the sort of distant, polite side because of their age difference and the fact that Light's an arrogant bastard who tends to prefer the company of people as smart as he is (or at least close). ALSO, because of that incident at the Twin Pine Restaurant, he's now aware that he needs to make sure he doesn't always get the twins' names right. He doesn't really regard either of them as a threat, though, and he is sort of like "WELL, I'M SMART AND LIKE GOD. OF COURSE I CAN TELL THEM APART EVEN WITHOUT THE EYES," and so he might drop the act after awhile.

... I DUNNO. THEY NEED TO TALK MORE, DAMNIT.

Ken (Naoya) - Naoya thinks Ken is funny (in the good way, of course), and he enjoys talking to him. Ken also reminds him a lot of his brother, though Ken is much more relaxed (something which Naoya hopes Naoto will one day be able to do D:), but at the same time he can't help but worry what will happen if Ken learns about his empathy/precognition/GODLY powers. So, pretty much, he'll try to avoid the subject at all costs.

Ken (Hisoka) - Hisoka finds Ken a major pain in the ass. This is mainly because Hisoka had been trying to help him and in turn, Ken had insulted him (something which lost Ken major points). If things were resolved I could probably see these two tolerating each other (xD), but right now Hisoka would sooner throw another book at his head.

Naoto - ...You really have to ask? xD

For one, Naoya admires his brother. Despite his faults, Naoto is always to get back up and Naoya envies that (because in his eyes, he is nothing compared to Naoto). At the same time, Naoya also worries for his brother and how easily he gets angry because he knows that one day it will get him in trouble (especially if Naoya isn't there to stop it). And, besides all that, Naoto is (as you so adequately put it) Naoya's world. After all that they've been through, if Naoto were to leave or disappear, Naoya would see no reason to go on.

It has been nice knowing you.

Scar would have granted William more sarcasm if a certain mun (haha me!) wouldn't have gone on hiatus XD

And all we need to do is make Scar purr for Oriya to be fully convinced of Scar's feline-ness? |D

The big guy made a hell of a bad first impression, snatching her out of nowhere and carrying her off in a place where very bad things usually happen to people who get stolen away at night. But, once she finished yelling at him she came to find that he's actually a pretty decent guy.

His selflessness is something she can't identify with very easily, but can respect a lot. While she thinks he's a bit on the slow side, and she can be pretty unsympathetic to the poor guy, she knows his heart's in the right place, and she feels a bit safer having him on her side.

hurrr Gumshoe's thoughts on Anise?

[identity profile] not-rly-fai.livejournal.com 2008-01-18 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooooh lessee...

Fai is really intimidated by Homura, mostly because he knows what questions to ask and he seems to be getting gradually more forceful(bringing Okita along the second time ;p) in finding answers to them. After what happened in the Chapel, he's going to be pretty wary of Homura and Okita as well.

Fai thinks Ururu is really cute and was impressed by how well she could fight, but he also doesn't want to let her get too close to him. He felt like her crying last time was his fault, so he wonders if she might be upset with him. He doesn't really understand the need people have to have a "good cry" to let out their emotions no, he's totally not a ticking time bomb... not at all... so... yeah. He still likes her though, on sort of a "playmate" level, since they had fun in arts and crafts and... stuff. So he might get tired of fretting and see how she's doing sometime soon.

Gin doesn't really care for Homura. He's clever and ambitious, which he knows can be a dangerous combination. He does think Homura is a little too wrapped up in his past though, so he wonders if he can use that to his advantage. Even though Homura isn't a threat, Gin prefers to be prepared.

Gin thinks Ururu is really just one of Urahara's toys. He knows she worked at his shop, but that's about it. He assumes she must be strong if she's still alive, that or someone's been protecting her. Since she got assigned to his group, he's going with "strong." ^^; He's interested in what kind of abilities she might have, but also what information he might be able to glean from her about things back home or about Urahara's plans and stuff. ^^;

aaaand I'll have to get back to you on Allen and Ururu because I'm drawing a blank and I'll have to go re-read threads... ^^;

[identity profile] jade-pen.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, kinda figured that. ^_^; And while Adel is used to the crazy, he wouldn't really be close enough to Okita to do anything about it, so... yeah, best to keep his distance there.

But I do think Alfons and Ritsuka need to thread some more. They are very cute together, after all!

[identity profile] intoindra.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I think that Roland and Ururu might like each other, or at least it'd be worth a shot. Roland himself doesn't have much of an opinion on Ururu, at least not at the moment; not enough of an impact's been made for him to start forming a judgment call.

Adel's... kinda wondering about Homura, and is getting more and more curious about the guy. Homura's last exchange on the bulletin board, and the faith he shows Adelheid, is quite a bit more than what Adel expects. He's a little disappointed that Homura isn't stopping by tonight, but still hopes to figure out more about Homura at some point in the future. And, though he doesn't know it, there's still that conversation we need to have them have at some point, when conditions are finally right.

Ken is probably the member of Weiss Yohji is feeling most friendly about at the moment ^^ Ken probably knows what Yohji's going through better than the others, but he doesn't let Yohji wallow in his guilt, which I think he appreciates a lot. If he needs to talk about something, Ken is probably the member of Weiss that he'll go to ^^

[identity profile] onsoullessfeet.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
He thinks she's a cute kid, and he's extremely grateful for her help in guiding them to the clinic despite having just been 'kidnapped' out of nowhere. She's automatically on the list of people he has to watch out for. He'll probably want to check up on her again, eventually.

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Ed to Alfons: Alfons confuses him. He feels bad about being so harsh with him, but the whole fact that he looks so much like Al confuses him badly and sets him a little on edge. Afons makes him feel a bit uncomfortable, I guess, especially since he comes from Ed's future. He's a reminder of what is going to become and Ed doesn't like that at all. He doesn't like being expected to be someone else.

Ed to Adel: Adel... Adel is probably Ed's best friend, despite the occasional problems between them. He greatly respects Adel's strength and is always proud to have him watching his back. He does kinda' wish Adel would get over the chip on his shoulder, but he knows that he has one himself ^^; He also wishes Adel would realise that Ed really doesn't care about whatever Adel feels guilty or worried about. They're friends now and that's what matters, so they can sort anything out later.

Rangiku to Xigbar: He seems like a very fun guy, and Ran can always appreciate fun people :D She'd like to go out drinking with him sometime, and she's certain that they'd have a riot together!

Argilla to Roland: Well, obviously, at first Argilla thought Roland was a useless drunk (not that she knew the word then of course), who the Embryon could do without until he blackmailed them >[ But since then, she has definitely grown very fond of him. He helped them so much, and treated them as humans rather than weapons and proved himself over and over, proved that he could change and she really respects that. And somewhere along the line, she started to feel more than cameraderie for him, although she isn't sure what that is yet, but she'd definitely like to find out, and she does enjoy his company.

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, for started, he definitely appreciates Okita's power as a warrior ^^; Not many men who can twist the head off a demonic nurse without batting a eyelid, so Okita has officially made it only Kenren's list of 'Interesting people', which was nearly empty until he came to Landel's! He definitely feels a certain sympathy for Okita too, knowing that they've both lost people in the Institute. Definitely someone Kenren would like to get to know better ^^

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he hasn't seen much of Kenren, but he definitely has Kenren intrigued. He'd love to know more about the battousai and why Kenshin suddenly switched between polite nice guy and cold hard bastard ^^; He feels a little wary about Kenshin's unwillingness to kill, since Kenren is more of a wahtever it takes to survive kind of guy and he's not too certain about standing around while they get attacked.

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Ed on Homura: Well, until the other night, Ed would have thought he was an arrogant asshole. And well, he still does think that for the most part, but Homura wasn't condescending towards him, which automatically puts him a step up and didn't treat him like a kid, which Ed also hates. So, he's kind of ambivalent about Homura, but leaning towards a very wary and fragile respect.

Not that he would ever admit this of course.

Rangiku on Homura: Well, first off, she doesn't trust him as far as he can throw him ^^; She knows that he's been talking to Gin and Hitsugaya doesn't trust him, and they're both people who's instincts she trusts. However, she did enjoy talking with him; it's nice to talk to someone who seems so polite and respectful. He's also made her a little curious and maybe just maybe, a bit protective because of the Rinrei thing ^^

Kenren on Ururu: Well, they didn't talk for long, but Kenren does seem to have a soft spot for kids and would happily become an older brother figure for her. She strikes him as very quiet, and he'd probably like to be the person to make her laugh and have fun ^^

Yes! Argilla and Ururu were fun ^^

[identity profile] godofflash.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yoruichi feels somewhat protective of Ururu, in no small part because she's Urahara's. There's a sense that if he isn't there to protect Ururu, Yoruichi should take up the slack. But on the other hand, Ururu makes her vaguely uncomfortable - the apparent blind faith and dependence get under her skin, and remind her a little too much of her own subordinates.

[identity profile] godofflash.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
How does Ururu feel about Yoruichi?

Has to be asked. Dean on Sam?

[identity profile] neverreallyfit.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
So, they've only met the once, but what does Max think of Sam?

[identity profile] transgenix.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, she liked him! And she really wants to get to know him better. She says she can empathize exasperating siblings with him. XD She offers to help him gang up on Dean if it's ever required.

Okita on Kenshin:

He doesn't actually hate him so much as what he symbolizes. Kenshin is a good guy, he's polite and well mannered, peaceful and strong, but he outlived the Shinsengumi and actively participated in the war that ended Okita's world. Every time he sees Kenshin alive and breathing, it's a reminder of how he failed everyone he ever cared about - the only people who ever cared for him.

He respects Kenshin's wish not to kill anymore, but the fact that he was able to distance himself from the bloody path is exactly why Okita is so determined to see him on it again. He wants to see for himself what sort of person Kenshin used to be, to see if it would ever be possible for him to follow that sort of peaceful life. The idea that he won't be able to do so sort of kills him inside a little, which is where some of Okita's snark toward Kenshin comes from.

He wishes that they didn't have the war between them, though, because he thinks under different circumstances, they could have been friends.

Okita on Hikaru:

Hikaru was the first person to tell Okita about the end of the war and how everyone died. In a way, he resents him for that, but at the same time, he's thankful for the knowledge Hikaru has. He still wants to talk to him more, since he thinks he needs to know more in order to stop what is going to happen.

He doesn't think Hikaru and Kaoru are worthy of training, but he does want to teach them self-defense at some point. He doesn't like to see young ones hurt, after all, and he's also beginning to look for students.

Ritsuka on Hikaru:
Coming later!

Keman likes L! He finds him a little eccentric, but he hasn't spent very much time around pure humans compared to the other races, so he just sort of accepts L's...quirks without much thought. L's obviously extremely intelligent, and as a scholar, Keman really respects that. He likes just about everyone, but he doesn't often get to have an honest-to-goodness intellectual discussion, so he's looking forward to meeting L again. :D

[identity profile] adorkabledragon.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 10:59 am (UTC)(link)
Keman on Shana: Shana is, without speaking in hyperbole, Keman's world. He cares about the plight of the humans and the wickedness of the elves, etc., because he does have a big heart (and because Alara's been telling them about how wrong it is since before they can remember), but I'm not sure he would have ever acted on it if not for her. There's a reason why he ran away twice to find her.

It's a very co-dependent relationship. He needs his little sister, and he's much happier now that she's come to Landel's. He then hates himself for thinking that because he wants her safe, but he needed to...see her for himself? I think that makes sense. He enjoyed his time getting to know Valyn, but he just wasn't Shana.

Keman on Max: Max...confuses Keman. A lot. She's brash and outgoing and not at all ladylike, so she reminds him of Shana.

Unfortunately, he is also going through puberty for the first time, and she is a beautiful woman. Keman has a tendency to read into things way more than he should, so now he's scared he might have a sister complex. Go figure. He also feels kind of awkward around her in general, but that's probably due to the puberty thing.

She's also smart, and he likes that. He likes...people in general, because they fascinate him, but he really enjoys having intellectual discussions.

[identity profile] chaneystarr.livejournal.com 2008-01-19 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwww! Keman makes me so freaking fuzzy, you have no idea. I adore him. XD

And Max is highly, highly amused and says don't over-think the sister complex thing. ;) Maybe he just likes competent women. She says honestly, he's a dragon, what did he think he'd like, some mincing elven lady? And then she ruffles his hair again, haha. XD
