What? Another One?

I'd like to wait for the intros to be done, but I'm trying to procrastinate to be good and update my character journals with new content. And since this is very much like a meme that is buried somewhere in the lounge past, might as well play with it again?

So. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL PEOPLE HOW YOUR CHARACTERS FEEL ABOUT THEIR CHARACTERS, post a comment with all of your characters listed. For me, that'd I'd list Homura, Tatsumi (dropped), Hiei, and Ururu since Sano is so new and has interacted with two people. Anyone can reply to any comment, including the name of the character they want to hear about, and preferably the name of the character they want to hear it from. Dropped characters may be included in both offerings and requests.

Please please please, if you have interacted with ANY of my characters, comment? I'll probably still end up going through threads, but I'd really like to have some way of double checking. And I'll totally finish this time, cause I don't think I did last time. Um. If I didn't, feel free to whack me?

And also? I totally need a "tad's boredom makes memes" tag. Or something.

Luffy thinks Qui-Gon's pretty interesting! And, for some reason, he thinks it's kind of funny he took a book into the cafeteria to read, 'cause he didn't really realize the nurses would let you do something like that. (He still wishes he could bring food into the library, but that's beside the point. :*( )

He can tell Qui-Gon's a pretty clam, grounded sort of guy, and he suspects he's a good, kind person. He's also pretty curious about what kinds of things he teaches. It's a shame he didn't get to ask. BUT THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT TIME, AMIRITE?

As for Obi-Wan? He wasn't ever quite sure what to make of Darman. The knowledge that he was a clone from the future who was essentially created by the Jedi kind of weirded him out/disconcerted him. In a way, Darman kind of represented the dark times ahead that Obi-Wan had been warned about.

On the other hand, Darman was one of the few people from his universe who was in Landel's, and Obi-Wan appreciated that. Not to mention Darman always seemed willing to assist Obi-Wan in any way he could, and it was kind of nice to have someone from his universe who could also provide some extra insight, I guess. Now that Darman's gone, Obi-Wan feels like he's lost an important ally, and he hopes nothing terrible happened to him, though he has a bad feeling about his disappearance. :*(

Sorry for the late reply on this!

I really do think that we need to have Ed and Roy thread more. 8D I realize they're kind of running in different circles, but they could have some awesome interaction and stuff. :3 But Roy doesn't really want to impose too much on Ed since he knows he has no authority over him here. But I'll get to that in response to your comment.

As for Rangiku... XD;; Yeah, Roy is being pretty good about not making any obvious moves on her since he knows that just fails entirely. 8D He thinks it's pretty awesome that she's smart, strong, and pretty, though. Definitely one of the people he enjoyed making a weapon for, eheh.

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-20 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Like I said before, as far as Roy can tell, Rangiku is capable, smart, level-headed, and nice on the eyes on top of all that. He kind of reminds her of Riza, though obviously not as strict or anything. But he doesn't know of many women who can fight on top of everything else, so he's always pleasantly surprised when he comes across them. He knows better than to try and make any flirtacious comments (well, a few subtle ones are okay...), since he's certain she's more than sick of them.

As for Ed, Roy does still consider him a child in many ways, but he trusts him enough to let him do as he pleases here at Landel's, rather than breathing down his neck or anything. He does wish that Ed would maybe be a little more cooperative and actually work with him in the Cooking Group and stuff, but he knows better than to force that sort of thing. He has Hughes and Riza, so he figures that he can let Ed do his own thing, since that's what he always does in the end. And he is worried for him as far as Alphonse goes, since... Yeah, they don't really know what's going on with that. :|

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-20 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry for the late reply on this!

That's really cool, actually. 8D It's nice to know that she can feel a little more open around him, since Guy wouldn't want it any other way, really. He was a little wary of her at first since he heard a lot about her from the others before he actually met her, but things have obviously changed since then. But I won't say too much since you asked me about this in another comment, haha. XD;;

But yes, they do need to hang out more so that Guy can have a proper freak out. The fact that he's really only done that once while at Landel's (and the person involved ended up being a guy, in the end) is just wrong. If anyone can fix this, it's Anise!

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Heeee. Y!! Like I said, Guy was not sure what to think of Anise when they first met up because he kept hearing differing things about her from Jade, Luke, etc., but in the end he came to care about her just as much as all of the others. He has a soft spot for women in general, even if he can't get very physically close to them, and Anise is no different. I mean, he sees her more as a close friend/little sister, but that doesn't mean that he can't be charming with her when he feels the inclination.

Granted, he's still wary about the fact that Anise is more likely to randomly cling to him than Natalia or Tear would be (well, maybe Natalia would, too, but she got a little better about that as time went by?). He has to wonder if she's really trying to help cure him or if she's just doing it for the reaction. (He suspects it's a bit of both.)

But he did get over his phobia to save her at one point, so that shows just how much he does care for her and her well-being. He isn't so sure about the marriage thing and figures she has a lot better luck with Luke as far as that goes (not that he can really imagine anything actually happening, really, but it's easier to foist it all on Luke... XD), but he's willing to play along to a certain extent and... yeah!

Sorry for the late reply on this!

Awww, yeah, Roy tends to be so much about business business assignments that he doesn't usually take the time to just talk to people. Most of his relationships at Damned are professional because that's just sort of how he is, and the other person would have to make more of an effort to get to know him for anything beyond that to develop. He's not big on the friends thing, though he cares about his subordinates like a family. 8D;; I mean, the only friend he really has canonly is Hughes, so that gives you an idea of how closed up he is. Awww, Roy.

Yeah, that does weird Raiden out. Raiden still needs to realize that Ashton and Axel are roommates, actually... And he heard about Ashton's M-U since he saw the note that Axel left on their room door last night. But yeah, the three of them will have to thread sometime.

Omg, did you just come up with that song out of nowhere... XDDDDD ♥ Aww, well, that's cute. Yeah, Guy is actually pretty cool with Peony (I don't want to say too much since you asked me about this in your comment), but yeah, he's just kind of a mellow guy in general these days.

I DID FORGET. FJDLAERF, sorry, I forget everything. But yay, Ashton approves of Guy. This is good. ♥

YEAH, HE IS, ISN'T HE. I'm kind of surprised he hasn't met Sora yet, haha. 8D

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
Roy felt that Ashton was one of the people that was the most decent about the whole weapon-making thing. Like, he really seemed to appreciate what he was doing rather than just collecting on the offer, and the aspirin offered was a nice touch. ♥ The fact that he's willing to participate and help with the Cooking Group is really great, too, since Roy worries that the Cooking Group's numbers are pretty low in comparison to Arts and Crafts. He knows it isn't a competition, but it still feels that way.

Raiden's still kind of surprised that people actually come up and talk to him at Landel's, since he's sort of used to blending in (don't know how you do that with your weird hair, Raiden, but whatever) and keeping to himself. He knows that making contacts and allies is probably a good thing, though, so he wouldn't mind talking to him again and trying to get to know him a little better. He needs distractions after Snake's death, so yeah. :\

Guy has obviously only just met Ashton, but since he's a friend of Claude's he assumes that he's got to be a good guy. It was a little awkward for him to meet him right after the whole M-U thing, and he feels like he may have been a little callous during all of of that, but overall he seems like a decent guy, which is what he had been expecting since he's Claude's buddy. Okay, that was really redundant haha. :|

Well, Guy really did need some distance from the whole Fabre mansion for a while there, so the fact that Peony was willing to sort of hire him and take him in was appreciated. The teasing was something he could handle (so long as it didn't involve getting tossed at women), and he knew what he was getting into when he signed up for that. There is the whole Hod thing, but Guy has been determined to put that behind him, and so he doesn't really hold any animosity for it. He respects Peony as the emperor, and is always willing to follow his orders. He doesn't really suspect a friendship to form, but you never know. ♥

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Guy was a little concerned about all that, but he figures it has mainly been cleared up now and so he's not going to worry about it overly much. Everyone's entitled to their secrets (he has quite a few!), so he isn't one to judge.

DAYSHIFT, PERHAPS? Sora will be the superior gusher. that sounds a little wrong

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
No problem ^^

We do need to have them thread some more ^^ They have fun interaction when they're together (gotta' love the snark :D ).

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry for the late response!

It's kinda cute that he thought he was cool until the whole revelation, haha. 8D;; But yeah, Spidey really isn't looking for a fight, especially not at Landel's where he's got a whole ton of other stuff to worry about. Though if Eddie did start to attack him, he would fight back since he's not just going to let himself get beaten up for no reason. :| Sweet symbiote love, too bad Peter is mainly oblivious and has no intentions of giving Eddie any chances.

Starving college kid. XD;; The sad thing is that Peter (Petrelli) is 26, but yeah, he just comes off as so hopeless. He's totally going to try and find Eddie again and stuff, since he gets attached like that. >_>;;

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. ♥ Well, first of all, Peter does feel bad about the things he did to Eddie while he was under the influence of the symbiote. Before that, he had seen him as a not-so-friendly rival, but his feelings toward him weren't that belligerent and it was all in good fun as far as he could tell. He was determined to get the job, yeah, but he didn't have anything personally against Eddie. He thinks his whole "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT MAKES A GOOD PHOTO" thing is kind of stupid, but whatever.

Now with the whole symbiote thing, he's kind of torn on what to think. The fact that Eddie knows a lot of his secrets is bothersome, but he's trying not to worry too much about that and just hopes that Eddie doesn't do anything too horrible with that information. He's a little disappointed that Eddie is giving into the symbiote and not working to get rid of it, but he understands how hard it is to fight. Still, he did overcome it in the end, so he's just hoping that Eddie can too, somehow.

But the fact that Eddie's on his case all the time does bug him, and the vested interest Eddie seems to have in him confuses him because he doesn't know what to make of it. He really feels like he needs Eddie's whole thought process explained to him, but he's not about to ask. XD;; So yeah, that's that.

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Other than the confusion of their first meeting (Guy still feels a little bad about that), Guy is really glad to have Okita as a roommate. He's a pleasure to talk to most of the time, but he's not boring -- in fact, he's pretty interesting. He's amazed that Okita doesn't know about a lot of technology, but that just makes him that much more eager to explain it to him somehow. (He's worried he'll go overboard, though.) There have been a few hiccups, yeah, but Guy is pretty forgiving in that regard because he knows that no one is perfect. All in all, he really wouldn't switch roommates if given the chance. Unless he got Luke as a roommate or something, haha. XD; Or Claude, maybe

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry for the late response on this. D:

Sora most certainly is not looking for a good time. XD;; He fought Xigbar once, and that was bad enough! Ack.

Aww, yeah, that's understandable. Roy hasn't had much time to consider Alfons, either, so yeah. I guess they're pretty disconnected even though they're from the same fandom.

Roy is fine with keeping a distance from Adel, since he figures that their conversations usually don't end well. :|

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
The Gailardia thing just kind of threw him for a loop since not many people know that name. Like, he's fine with certain people calling him that, but when someone random comes out with it out of nowhere, he's kind of forced into a kneejerk reaction. Water under the bridge, though. ♥

It's kind of cute that they're in the same situation as far as wanting to talk about this stuff but not being able to because their friends don't really care either way. 8D

Aww, the no expectations thing makes me wibble. :3

Hmm, Guy doesn't really make any connection between Claude being an Earthling and them being caught on Earth. He knows that Claude has nothing to do with that, and really only sees it as a plus, since that means that Claude might be able to help give him more information about stuff.

Yeah, Guy's eager to see how they work together with night. It's all fine and good for them to be able to have good conversations during the day, but being able to make progress and get things done at night is really important. So yeah. :D

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
...Yeah, I noticed that too. XD;; Not sure how that happened, but it definitely amuses me. I'm just that seme, I guess?

Roy isn't quite sure what to think of Adelheid anymore. He thinks that he jumped to a lot of ridiculous assumptions when they first met, and his whole thing with Dante was badly played as far as he can tell, but since they haven't been interacting much lately, he hasn't put much thought into it. He's a little concerned that Ed and Adelheid seem to be close, but he also knows it's none of his business.

As for Alfons, he was concerned for him partly out of instinct at the beginning. Even if he isn't the Al he knew, he's close enough that he felt that need to protect. He does hope that his conversation with him toward the beginning helped out, but now he's comfortable with letting Hughes take over as far as the whole father figure thing.

Sora is wary around the Organization in general since it's pretty hard having to face what he did, especially when it comes to those who remember it. Xigbar doesn't, which makes it a little easier, but he knows that their intentions can't exactly be good, and yet on the other hand he has to wonder if they're not all aiming for the same goal while at Landel's. He isn't going to run in the other direction if he sees Xigbar coming, but he isn't going to actively seek him out, either, unless he has some pressing need to talk to him about something.

Well, Raiden's hips are pretty hard to match. XD;; I think that Axel is the only one who might get close in that regard!

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry for the late response on this!

That's okay! XD I actually considered asking you the same question, but--

Guy is kind of wondering why Albel is so abrasive, but he knows that some people are just sort of like that? He can kind of understand how it's weird for someone to randomly start asking random questions, so he doesn't fault Albel too much for that. He kind of wishes he could have gotten more out of him, but he just kind of hopes he can find some other people who are a little more willing to talk. XD;;

[identity profile] burningvigor.livejournal.com 2008-01-21 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah, Guy kind of feels like he's found a kindred spirit or whatever in Claude, since... back on Auldrant, there weren't very many people he could share his passion with. Dist is one of the only other people he came across who was majorly into fontech, and that obviously wasn't going to work. (It didn't stop him from inwardly fanboying the machines Dist made that they had to fight, though.) Then there's Noelle (.... I think that's her name), who he at least got to talk to about the whole airship thing, but yeah, that was it.

So he is grateful to Landel's for one thing, and that's giving him a chance to meet someone from another world who knows so much and who he's able to learn from. He's really appreciative about the fact that Claude humors him and is willing to explain things, which is why he doesn't mind answering whatever questions Claude asks him without a second thought.

He is hoping that they do well together in nightshift, since if he comes back not empty-handed, Peony and the others will probably allow him to try going out at night with Claude in the future as well. Uhhh, yeah, he just really enjoys talking to Claude in general and worries that wanting to do so is going to distract him from collecting information from other patients, hahaha. 8D

Other than being a little concerned that he's bothering Claude (and he's mostly over that), he feels pretty comfortable around him. :3 All in all, it's quite the nice little friendship he's stumbled upon.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Arty genuinely likes Ed, and wants to talk to him more about alchemy. He's really the only teenager who has managed to capture Artemis' intellectual interest in the math and sciences department. He also admires Ed's dedication to his friends and how Ed takes pride in his alchemy work.

As for Rangiku, Arty is somewhat terrified of her. XDDD She's the most feminine person he's run into, and he's clearly intrigued by whatever makes her tick. However, he's scared that if he asks her something she doesn't like, she'll respond with a fist to his face. ; ;

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
First off... I FAILED AT THIS MEME SORRY! ;A;

Ah, Artemis and Haku... Tricky subject. Artemis always looks forward to coming back to his room to talk with Haku, simply because it's the one staple in his life at Landel's. After their first meeting, Arty realized that he couldn't treat Haku as some sort of object to study and play with when he was feeling trapped or defeated. Now, Arty sees Haku as one of his best friends at the Institute, and would be devastated if something happened to him. After this past dinner shift (X3) Artemis is starting to wonder if he feels something more than friendship for Haku, or if he sees his roommate as a source of comfort. He's also worried that Haku is withholding his emotions in order to spare Zabuza or Artemis' peace of mind, and hopes that Haku will come to him if he does feel that way.

Sousuke still admires Takaya, and enjoys spending time with him when he's not drugged or moody. However, he still thinks that Takaya's face would break if he smiled--which is rather ironic, all things considered. XD He's concerned about Takaya losing his friend, but probably won't say anything. They're too manly to have FEELINGS! >[ XD

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
I FAILED ON THIS MEME, I'M SORRYYYY!

Arty and Hitsu:

Artemis deeply admires and respects Hitsugaya as his superior, although he is still of the opinion that the captain could afford a less-sinister-looking smile once every thousand years. He's amused by Hitsugaya's tense behavior, but not to the point of ridiculing him--he has too much respect for Hitsugaya to do that. He's also curious as to whether or not he and Hitsugaya are friends (like he is with Renji), but is too nervous or too professional (one of the two) to ask him. Arty wants to have a friendly relationship with Hitsugaya, but doesn't want to make his working environment awkward by asking something he shouldn't.

Heiji and Rinali:

For all his flirting, Heiji honestly isn't interested in Rinali in that way. He likes flattering the ladies, but he won't lead anyone on. Besides, he is MASSIVELY amused by Allen's behavior whenever he compliments Rinali, and wouldn't want that to turn into a grudge or active dislike. Heiji enjoys talking to Rinali, and thinks she's a very nice girl who's dedicated to the people she loves--and he approves of that emphatically.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... let's see~

Artemis still wants to talk more with Sora about where he came from and the properties of the weapon he wields, but he's more interested in picking apart Sora to find out what makes him tick. He's fascinated by hero-types, and can't figure out what makes them do what they do. Also, Artemis still feels bad about causing the fight in the bathroom, and admires Sora for leading him and Rena through the battle, even through injury. He hasn't found a way, but he still wants to thank Sora somehow for his bravery.

Heiji admires Guy's quick-thinking in the face of adversity, and wonders why Guy didn't completely freak out when Heiji was injured so badly. For a guy who he barely knows, Heiji is very impressed with how Guy didn't leave him behind to be injured further. Of course, there is the one tiny part of Heiji that says Guy is a little too concerned with the particulars of things and isn't enjoying life as much as he should. Of course, he's always smiling and... they're trapped in a mental institution. XD;;

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Arty isn't exactly sure what to make of L. It's obvious that they are intellectually a match for each other, which causes Artemis to feel slightly nervous concerning L. For all Artemis knows, L is in the Head Doctor's employment and wants the transcripts to see what he's been up to. During their meeting, there was definitely a tense atmosphere, which unnerved him slightly. But, he is willing to give it another (guarded) try should L provide the goods he asked for~ ♥

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2008-01-22 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Sousuke admires Usopp as a commanding officer and as a human being. He feels as though he can admit to Usopp that he isn't the best at civilian interaction without being chastised for it, or talk to him about messing up in finding Chidori. Part of him wishes that he could work with Usopp during the night, but is too hard-headed to ask. Part of him also says that finding Chidori is his top priority, and that Usopp will understand that and leave him to his mission.

Artemis is... rather wary of Xelloss. He didn't exactly like how quickly he abandoned ship in the mirabi fight, and firmly believes that anyone that cheerful should be shot on sight--or they want something. Artemis often smiles while he is plotting, so he is unsure as to whether or not Xelloss is doing the same song and dance. Even so, he thinks there is more to Xelloss than is immediately apparent.
