IMPORTANT: Mod Updates!
First of all, since we've already sent out emails to everyone who applied (save for the excused late ones) and have accepted/rejected everyone (save for those who we're still waiting on for revisions), I'd like to say this:

This is the first time we've gotten so many people that I feel I need to give a formal introduction to everyone. XD; Okay, so! My name's Erin (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lacidiana) and I, along with Court (burningvigor) mod this RP! If you're having trouble getting adjusted or if you're insanely confused by all our different guidelines, don't hesitate at all to IM either of us with your questions. If neither of us are online when you need us, Fey (theladyfeylene) and Emily (kinneas) are the next people you'd want to look for if you need any help. :) If it's monsters/nurses you want, Lindsay (synthesize) and Vegas (withalacrity), along with Fey and Emily, can meet all of your baddie needs! <3
Anyway, right! Yeah, so like I said, I'm Erin, and I play Greed, Scar, and Cid Highwind, so if you ever see typos or other errors in those posts, you can be all "WHAT IS UP WITH THAT DUMB MOD WHAT" and.... yeah. XD;I OBVIOUSLY LIKE TO PLAY CHARACTERS WITH TOO MUCH TESTOSTERONE.
Right. Now. IMPORTANT MOD UPDATES:
- The Original Character Controversy: Debate was wrought, long comments were posted, and in the end, we mods can only look to the polls for a clean-cut answer. Luckily, the difference is large enough for us to feel comfortable about making the final decision, and so here it is: Original characters will NOT be allowed in this RP. This goes for both totally original OCs and fandom OCs. D: Apologies to those of you who object.
- Roommates!: Court and I have listened to ye masses and due to space constraints at the Institute, everyone (except for the odd man out or what have you D:) will have a ROOMIE! That's right! For once, Court and I didn't randomize: Instead, we paired people of the same gender, same age range, different fandoms, and different personalities. As far as personalities, we tried goodguy & villain, fighter & notsofighter, prude & deviant, emoboy & hyperchild, that kind of thing. XD; We also attempted to pair new characters with old characters wherever we could so that oldbies could have a chance to educate the newbies. <3 For our own characters, we picked for each other so that we wouldn't have an advantage. D: We might not have been able to do everything PERFECTLY, but... yeah. XD; We pretty much finished the list, but can't release it QUITE yet, BUT IF YOU COMMENT ASKING FOR IT, I MIGHT GIVE YOU A TENTATIVE HINT/WARNING IF I KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE CHARACTER. FOR FUN. :B
- A RAT AT LANDEL'S: NO, I WILL NOT LET IT DIE ALREADY. New players of particularly evil/conniving/double-crossing/desperate characters, PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT! It's basically a way to get your character to spy on other characters and report on them to the higher-ups for very nice rewards. (It could even be to get rid of some canon physical flaw or an unwanted power!) Basically, CHECK IT OUT. VOTE IF IT APPLIES. >:] We haven't implemented it yet, but the roomie system makes spying on other people all the more likely...
- CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS: If you have a new character, vote in the poll below with that new character's journal. New players, this is basically a way for us to figure out how to filter in all the new people according to what people want. Unless you're going to be out of town or something and you NEED to be intro'ed during Nightshift (that's going to be in over two weeks from now, given that the special visitor stuff going on next Landel's day will probably need shift extensions), everyone's going to be intro'ed during the day. Unless the groups get too big or something; then we might have to overflow into night. XD;
