Yeah, he probably would, maybe from a combination of his divorce and the whole rivalry with Peter. And maybe he started scaring/stalking his coworker Parker/Peterson or...I dunno. I guess we keep it vague enough because I kind of want to keep it matchable to whatever movieverse will be. :P

Yeah, that's what I was going for as well. I'm not going to exposit, because that might get too specific, but I'll go ahead and pull bits of dialogue from my ass if that's totally okay.
