Chapel description?

Heeey mods and/or people who are more knowledgeable than I.

I've been looking for descriptions of the chapel and found an old dayshift description, but can't seem to find anything about the newer nightshift additions. Looking at other people's posts, I hear there's a statue and a fountain, but... I don't know what they actually look like, or if there's anything else noteworthy. :B Any help?

I actually didn't keep the link, haha, but I remember I did some commenting on that post so I Gmail-searched "fountain" and "blood" and found the LJ notification that linked to the post. 8D;;

GMAIL HOW I LOVE YOU SO. \o/~!

"The Chapel is pretty big and intricate, and the insides seem to be made of marble and stone--fancy stuff, basically. The pews are the long, wooden kind you'd probably find in a pretty traditional church, and a red carpet rolls down to the podium in the center aisle between them. The podium itself is wooden and elevated by a few steps as it would be in, again, a pretty traditional church. And... yes! There is an organ! The pipes are at the back of the church, on the second level, which can be reached from a wooden flight of stairs and has a wooden railing around it; the organ-player could sit up there, but isn't at the moment and... stuff.

The weird thing about the church, though, is that there aren't any crosses, any bibles, any depictions of Jesus, nothing. The stained glass windows on the right and left walls, as well as behind the podium, are intricate and colorful, but don't have any actual depictions within them---they just seem to be visually-appealing, abstract designs. Basically, it's weird--it's almost like a secular church, if that makes any sense."

"Anyway, since we had complaints that there needed to be more incentive to travel to different parts of the institute, we're going to have something special in the Chapel. For one thing, it's going to be a safe area (so no monster attacks, no SC patients, nada), and there's going to be a creepy, twisted monster statue (fountain-style with blood coming out of its mouth) situated behind the altar. Characters will be able to go get fully healed by this statue, for a price. Mwah ha ha. The head doctor will announce this, so the patient population at large will know about it."

The mods added more details, when I emailed them about it originally, saying:

"Anyway, as for the statue... Basically, the chapel is set up with pews and stuff, and the statue is situated behind the altar, so it's at the back of the room, more or less.

So, at the base of the statue there is an engraving that says: "Any sinner who is injured, step forward and be healed for a price." Right in front of the statue, there's a square-shaped indentation in the ground, so whoever wanted to go through with it would have to step there in order to activate the statue.

First of all, no matter what she'll be completely healed. As for what the price could be, these are the options:
a) It drains physical strength/powers, depending on what the character is more reliant on. (That is, if the character generally uses their powers in fights, then that is what would be drained.)
However, since she is with two other people, there's also:
b) Injury of another patient who is with the person being healed. That is, Renamon would be healed, but Orihime (or Toboe) would get the same wounds inflicted on them. It would only be one of them, typically the one that Renamon cares the most about or is most concerned with protecting."

Hope that helps!
