Surprise! Here's your "oh crap, only two weeks left!" reminder that apps are coming soon. And because we all like to squee, this is the meme to say who you're apping, or who you're thinking of apping, or who you're deciding between. Of course, you don't have to join in unless you're Allie, but it's a great deal of fun, and helps break the ice with the current players, I think?

And yes, current players and potential newbies are all welcome!

So, how it works. Post a picture or two of the character(s) you've got your eye on. Try to keep them small, though, since we don't want to break people's connections. ...though it bugs me that people playing normal Japanese characters don't recognize the term "shinigami", since it's a normal term for a normal Japanese person to know; it is, in every single way, the same thing as the Grim Reaper, only plural. Your average 11 should know the term shinigami in that capacity, if not in the specifics to each show and their made-up rules.

I think Grell and Ryuk&Co. are probably the closest to the normal idea of shinigami. They go get dead people! All this "zanpaktou" and "demon weapon" nonsense will just confuse everyone.

Really? I've never noticed. Then again, I tend not to pay attention to semantics so much in Damned, since the language laws are confusing enough as it is, OH HO HO.

HAHAHAHA. At least the Bleach cast actually knows what it's like to have a weapon that talks back, though granted, part of their own soul and all. Tsubaki will introduce Kid to Matsumoto, and he can freak out over how her mole makes her unsymmetrical.

AT LEAST HER GIANT BOOBS MIGHT GET IN THE WAY. They're like air bags; she can't crash into anything too hard, and likewise, they repel people who get in her way.

Yeah, having him in Damned'll be a challenge. I was torn between apping Tsubaki or Kid, and settled for the less anal one. GOOD LUCK PULLING HIM OFF. *salutes*

Well, obviously he can learn to get over things, seeing as how he can walk outside without going into seizures. And similarly, in the more recent chapters, he's been able to overcome the OCD if things are serious enough.

"Believe me, in any other situation I'd be freaking out over it."

Still, it's just great how it colors his thinking.

"My arm... is over there.... that means... my arms aren't symmetrical."

Anyway, it should be a lot of fun. He'll can be captain of team "Tries really hard but just doesn't accomplish anything thanks to their own problems".

LOL, but at the same time, we know how much he fails. XO THE TOILET PAPER, KID. DID YOU REMEMBER TO FOLD THE TOILET PAPER?

Either way, I'm sure he'll make a great advantage to the team. XD And you know, the mods said it's perfectly okay to find a skateboard in patient possessions, so Kid can at least keep his board no jutsu.

Hmm, depends on how creative Kid can be, I suppose. There are plenty of rails and things to jump off of.

I, for one, give Kid props for using the banister around the SR on the second floor to his advantage.
