Main Hall 1-Center Lucentiens body question?

Dean's about to hit up the center and see the second body after the leftover in the last part of the hall. He'd probably stop to inspect it and maybe touch the blood. I looked it up and the blood seems to have healing properties? Would it still work if it touched his arm or does it have to be fresh? Thanks! :3

It should still be fresh enough to help him, but it has to be ingested, not just touched.
