NS!Doyleton Question!

Sousuke is attempting a raid on the town for supplies and information. Thus, I have questions myself! ♥

1. About how far away is the town from the Institute?
2. Is it possible to break and enter into the buildings there? If so, how difficult is it? Are we talking picked locks or breaking windows or...?
3. Is there anything they should notice when/if they arrive?

Thanks guys! ♥

Uhh, actually, as of now we have it that getting to Doyleton isn't possible, since it wouldn't be likely that someone could get all the way down there on foot, and we also aren't sure how we'd want night to be like there. It's something that might be able to happen later (along with hotwiring of cars to get down there, etc. etc.) but as of now it's sort of a restricted area. :X

Ah... maybe it'd be good to take it off the map then? ^^;; It's listed as one of the areas outside the Institute, so I figured that it was accessible...

Well, the map says that the south leads to Doyleton for frame of reference, but it's not actually on the map? If that's confusing, though, I can see if Fey could take it off and upload a new version.

Yeah, that might be a good idea. I mean, frame of reference is all well and good, but stating that it's down there seems like an invitation to venture there at night. We can head to all the other areas marked on that map, and a town at night seems just as creepy as the rest of them, so it seems valid at first glance, I suppose... anyway, yeah, some sort of clarification would be nice so this doesn't happen to someone else...

Yeah, I didn't mean to cause any confusion and I can understand how you might have thought it was possible. I just know we had addressed this question before, but I guess not everyone saw it, or it wasn't stated for the whole comm to see. It's definitely going to be accessible at some point, though!

Okay cool. Thanks Court!

I can make a comment on [livejournal.com profile] damned_maps about Doyleton being unaccessible during the day? When I get the time to do updates. XD

During the night, you mean? And that would be wonderful! :3

XD Yes, night. I reworded that comment and forgot to reword it completely.

Is anyone up for building a go-cart out of a lawnmower or something and trying to get to Doyleton that way? It would be such a hilariously spectacular fail. XDDDD

That would be fantastic. Road trip of DOOM.

I thought I remembered someone finding some abandoned crazy ghost town in that direction that may or may not have been Doyleton?

As shown on the maps, there's a ruined town near the forest - it's a completely separate entity from Doyleton.
