As long as we're on the topic of food, does anyone know what exactly vegetarians are given to eat? Or can I fudge and say it's things like salad, tofu, soy beans, etc.

I think I remember one of the mods saying that it's like -- just a healthy vegetarian meal? airline style I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH. <-- disclaimer.

Well, I know they're given a vegetarian meal as a substitute, but I wasn't sure what that would consist of. It'd probably need to be more substantial than, say, a salad, right?

Yeah, that's what I meant, sorry -- like, that the mods said they would be given just a healthy substitute that would be substantial and not cause vegetarians at the institute to wither and die, and I think you can fudge the details on that 'cause I recall Rose having the same concern about...Subaru, I believe? Having to live on just lettuce. And there was never any mention of a specific meal set, just that it would be more than a salad.

In that case, I wonder if I'm free to do research and go with a healthy-sounding meal or if I need to get more details from the mods. Sorta figured it'd be more than a salad, but then that opens up the question of what, exactly, he'd be eating.

Yeah, pretty much exactly what Maia said--I was told that for Subaru, he'd be given a substitute meal, but the details were more or less up to me.

Thanks! XD Seriously, I never knew they served it like that. =/ And wasn't sure if it was "fries" as in "French fries," or "fries" as in "home fries" (which I think are hash browns).

And again, on the topic of food, since I overthink things and my vegetarian question was answered, what sort of eating utensils are supplied? It'd be hard to eat a steak without a steak knife, but considering this is an asylum, I don't think they'd give the patients sharp utensils. Or is the steak pre-cut?
