Why don't you introduce yourself?

Hello, Damnedites. It's become necessary that I post this since Angel dropped a while back, and I was piggybacking off of his question post.

So the question is simply this. Renamon can tell whether you are a human, Digimon, or none of the above. Which do you and yours fit into?

--For the more complicated characters, it has been more of a scale thing. Like Jiraiya comes off as human, but with supremely slight questionable feelings. Vlad Masters, when he was here, came off as pure question marks since he was (I believe) half human and ghost. Shinigami and Nobodies come off as not. Things in human form come off as not.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. Disclaimer reads that Renamon isn't going to use this to out your characters--she just interacts differently depending, and might bring it up.

I appreciate this in advance guys! Thanks!~

-Aison.

Dean is a regular Average Joe human, so no powers or anything funky on his end. Also, I think they already met once briefly for an item exchange a few nights ago.

Though he may not necessarily act like it (in that he's a cold-hearted bastard), von Karma is 100% human.

Sam Winchester is mostly (and was born) human, but carries a distinct demonic essence, for lack of a better word; i.e. he's infected with demon blood which gives him certain psychic abilities. Canonically, there's been one instance of his blood tasting different to a creature snacking on him.

Reno is your average human except in bed.

Here comes the freakshow.

Evangeline is some sort of magical vampire thing. Quasi-human.

Yuyuko is a ghost. So human, but dead.

Reinforce is totally nonhuman.

Sora, Guy Cecil, and Harvey Dent are all normal humans.

However, Peter Petrelli has mutated genes (the reason that he has powers) and Zack Fair has been injected with both alien cells and energy from the planet he's from. This energy can also have magical properties in other forms, so... yes. Don't know what that would translate to, but that's the deal!

Kaworu is... very close to human, genetically and physically speaking. I imagine that he'd pass the human test until Renamon took a closer look, and then it would become clear something wasn't quite right.

Howl is human, but might have a bit of a demonic aftertaste, I guess. XD

Yue/Yukito: Yue is definitely not human. If in Yukito form he would look human at first, but on closer inspection something would be off about him. (Yukito is basically designed to pass as a human, though very perceptive people noticed that he wasn't quite in canon, so.)

Hanatarou: Shinigami. Not human.

Ayumu: Completely human. Nothing unusual about her.

[identity profile] number-crunch.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yukari is not human.

Sho is a Reaper (re: Shinigami), so not human.

Hime is not human.

[identity profile] hes-deadjim.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 08:36 am (UTC)(link)
regular human.

Luffy is human, but because he ate what's known as a Devil Fruit, his body stretches like rubber and he becomes powerless when thrown into sea water.

Claude is a regular human.

Apollo is also human, but possess the power to perceive other people's lies through their body language.

Spock is half human and half Vulcan, but his physiology favors his Vulcan heritage.

I think that according to Arty's post, all Naruto characters without bloodline abilities were considered human, and those with genetic abilities were magical, but if it's a scale thing and the ability to use chakra counts, then Shika would be less magical than Jiraiya (since he has less chakra and sucks more at using it) and Obito would probably be a little more, thanks to his lineage junk, even though it's currently latent.

UM UM EDIT: I just reread that and realized that if latent powers don't count but chakra usage still does, Obito is still like Shika in that he can use fire the way Shika uses shadow.

TL;DR SHOOT ME NOW I NEED TO RE-APP A DN CHARACTER WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T I JUST IM YOU I'M CHANGING ICONS JUST FOR YOU JUST PRETEND THAT'S HEADDESKING INSTEAD OF SLEEPING.

Anise is a human. She's not from Earth and she has wacky magic-like abilities, but physically she's the same as any normal human.

Faize is in the same boat. Alien, but human alien with no significant physical differences.

[identity profile] thebigkaboosh.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 09:17 am (UTC)(link)
Peter Parker is a human with scientifically-altered genes. Mutant-spidery genes.

[identity profile] leaute.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 09:53 am (UTC)(link)
Aerith Gainsborough is half human and half Cetra. The Cetra looked just like everyday humans but had the ability to converse with the planet itself. So... I'd say she would come off as a mixed bag with strong human qualities. I hope this made sense!

[identity profile] emotionl4arobot.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 11:13 am (UTC)(link)
Wally West is technically human, but with something a little odd about him, due to the superspeed? I guess anyway.

Brainiac 5 is definitely not human, since he wasn't even organic to start with. XD

Raphael isn't human either.

[identity profile] notachick.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
I know what you mean. I was piggy-backing off Angel's post, too. XD

Okita Souji, Morinozuka Takashi, Franziska von Karma: Totally human.

Aoyagi Ritsuka: 99.9% human? In his world, humans have cat ears and tails until they're no longer virgins - so he technically still has his. He might seem somewhat different from the humans Renamon is used to, but he's otherwise normal.

Grell Sutcliffe: Death god - definitely not human.

L is totally human. Pay no attention to the canonical diet or the probable sleep deprivation.

Remy is a rat walking around in a human suit: absolutely not human.

[identity profile] puddingtreat.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 12:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Scar: lion in human form, so not human.

Tyki Mikk: complicated character ahoy, because he's a Noah. To keep it simple, let's just say the Noah are kind of like upgraded humans, because they certainly aren't a normal human, but they are like humans. Or something. I think he'll register as a question mark?

Yakushiji Tenzen: technically a full human, but he is born with a parasite-like creature living inside of him that heals and resurrects him. I'm not sure if Renamon's radar will pick this up.

How do the .hack characters fit in? ^^;; They seem human and would consider themselves human back home (hopefully), but here they're stuck in their player characters from an online game, so... since Renamon's also digital and stuff...? :|a

As a side note, I was recently reminded that there are references to Digimon within .hack's canon, looool Bandai.

Lord Recluse- He's going to come across as Weird, and I'm not sure how to classify him. He started out as human, but then he became Tartaros Incarnate. He's basically the Ancient Greek equivalent of hell, which is both a place and an entity at the same time (like how Gaia is portrayed as both the Earth and a thinking, anthropomorphic entity) personified. So... Yeah.

HK-47- Droid! Not meatbag. Simple enough.

TK-622- Human. Cloned, genetically modified human, but human.

Beelzemon- HEY FOXFACE! 8D

[identity profile] jokers-wildcard.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Harley, Klavier, and Kanji are all 100% human despite what powers or chemicals might be at play for some.

Nigredo is, as we determined, not human since the genetic material for U.R.T.V. would have to be RNA, not DNA. Among other things.

Kristoph is human.

Ange is a human-turned-witch. Since there's a good real-world explanation for Digimon in general (...kind of), Renamon should be able to tell that.

[identity profile] arwingyoshi.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Lockdown - A giant alien robot

Loz - Human. Though he might come off as weird since he formed out of 1/3 of a psycho's essense after said psycho died.

[identity profile] runner-up-robot.livejournal.com 2009-11-30 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Forte's not human, and might come off as similar to digimon, since he is/was a robot with human-programmed AI.

Meche and Indy are both human.
