question for mods: brainwashed patients and mist

This is such a minor question that I kind of feel weird posting it here, but it's come up, so what the heck.

Court already told me that, because he's brainwashed, "Daniel" can't see the ruins, and I'm assuming that this extends to other "weird stuff outside the institute" (like, if he and Lunge happen to meander into the forest at all, he won't see any of the destroyed-encampments-with-skeletons etc. along the river). I'm also assuming that the trees probably look normal to him, rather than withered (since the description alludes to the same decay as the Institute, which RL-evented patients are oblivious to -- I haven't mentioned the trees yet either way).

But! I really can't figure this one out: can brainwashed patients see the pervasive fog/mist that covers the landscape? This is peculiarly relevant.

(Also, please tell me if I have the wrong interpretation on any of the other stuff. orz)

Mist would be there, I think! It's nothing too weird, so just keep in mind that there wouldn't be anything supernatural/weird about it.

Haha, thank you! I was like, is it normal weather hey-there's-a-lake-over-there mist, or spooky mist? I didn't want him to remark on it if it wasn't there for him.

L can't see a damn(ed) thing! :D The ruins are completely invisible to him this NS. Which is going to be interesting if Lunge gets a supernatural bear in the face while they're out there (as happened to some people who went out there a while ago).

He will probably be begging Indy to go there with him another night. XD (Whether Indy, having already seen what there is to see, will acquiesce, is another thing.)

dhsdlh IKR. I LOVE THEM TO PIECES. Indy should totally try and introduce them anyway if they haven't already Cold Warred each other into oblivion.

This reminds me that I gotta make sure to grab Lars this DS too! L is taken for lunch, and I don't know when his therapy session will be. I think they're going to have to have an in-depth conversation, because L learned a few things pre-brainwash that he's going to want to discuss. Plus the implications of what's going on in the NS thread right now.
