It really kills me to do this, but this past semester tore me to shreds for a variety of reasons, and I'm feeling pretty burned out with a lot of stuff right now. As a result, I think I need to take some time to take care of myself and scale back on some things. I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop Luffy and Apollo.

Sorry to all my canonmates for being fail with the both of them the past few months. Luffy's especially hard to let go since I've had him since back during the days of Landel's Redux, and I felt like there was all kinds of plotting potential I could have tapped into with Apollo. I may re-app one of them someday if I find the time and no one else has gotten around to it, but I thought I should go ahead and drop now so I wouldn't be squatting on anyone during the next application cycle.

There's the issue regarding Luffy's hat, though. I'd like for it to get to his canonmates, but I'm not sure I have it in me to play out this long plot revolving around it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what should be done about this?

With that said, please remove rubbermancan and mister_fine. ;_;

Sorry to hear it, even expecting it! Your ad post to an OP community first interested me in Landel's!

ETA: Actually, now that I can think without squinting, that might really not be such a bad idea... just have Luffy meet with someone for a shift, leave the hat on a table/couch/whatever for some reason and wander off, not to come back for that shift or, uh, until we get another Luffy (though never a better Luffy, I'm sure!) It wouldn't take a lot of time for Luffy, but it would still give the characters left behind both the hat and lots of "OMG I let him wander off alone and now he's gone *sob*" excuse.

And I don't mean to guilt you, I'm afraid my first message was too pushy, I just meant it nostalgically! Sometimes things have to go, after all, I'm glad we got your excellent Luffy as long as we did.

Luffyyyyyy ;_; I am so sad I only got to do one scene with him, because he was completely adorable and I had so much fun in that thread. ♥

Awwwww, Luffy! I totally understand and ahahah I can't say anything after dropping Chopper, but it'll be sad not to see him around any more. He was amazing, and so was Apollo! ♥

Ok, there, I'm done. Obviously the musician will miss him dearly. As for the hat... AND THE KEYBOARD THAT HAPPENS TO STILL BE IN LUFFY'S CLOSET, THANK YOU VERY MUCH...!! Brook and Usopp were attempting to get a meety together when they met for breakfast this morning. I'm not to sure on seeing the hat getting left there if Luffy ventures off, however I can definitely get Brook there for his beloved instrument that's batteries are probably dead WOE. Usopp can be in charge of hat-retrieval and flip because of it. D:

Hmm, how about they just decide to head on over to Luffy's room since he's been missing for a while? Just seeing the hat sitting around without Luffy in sight would be enough motive to pick it up, me thinks. Zoro can inexplicably meat meet up with them via his Magical Sense of Direction, depending on what Chopper-mun decides on for this NS since... bawww... we've got that hat to retrieve too. ;__;

I loved reading Luffy so much and your Polly is still my absolute favorite Polly ever ;o; Thanks so much for apping him in the first place and for our fun bus thread~ Even if you don't reapp him promise you'll bring him around FOC every now and again, okay? :D
