I adore your McCoy. Whenever I read his posts I can hear his voice very clearly both in the prose and in the dialogue. You have his sass, compassion and respect all down to a T. I always enjoy it whenever Spock gets a chance to have a verbal sparring match with him, hahah.

The only thing I can think to pay more attention to is that sometimes he'll have typos in his first person medical logs. I realize some of them are errors he makes ICly, though I noticed that occasionally there will be a capital letter in the middle of a word, and I couldn't tell if that was on purpose or not.

Either way, though, since that's the only thing I can think of that might need improvement, you're clearly doing well. Keep up the awesome work. ♥

I'm behind with my stalking, but I just wanted to say that your Dean and his amazing stash of pop-culture references combined with a loaded holster of kind of grade-school, unexpectedly snicker-inducing humour was one of the major reasons I ended up marathoning SPN. I understand you feel you struggle with Fran because she's a complex character to handle. But honestly, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Everything I've said before still stands, and... now that I've played AAI, I'm even more sure that you have Fran's personality and voice right on target. One pitfall some Fran players fall into is overdoing the "foolish fool" schtick, but I haven't seen you once fall victim to that. Your voice for her is reminiscent of the game... her tone is condescending, imperious... and yet deep down, while she won't ever admit it, she cares for certain fools she works with.

Also, her reaction to Miles Edgeworth having been released? Perfect. You expressed her emotion so well, so vividly, I could feel her mixed emotions, her frustration and profound hidden sadness at someone else important to her leaving her. And though I dropped the ball on the recent Sun Room thread (orz), I have to say that for a father-daughter heart-to-heart (von Karma style, natch XD ), this one was surprisingly heartfelt without being conspicuously so.

While I know I can't convince you that you do a beautiful job at Fran, nor can I convince you to keep her in the game, I'll do my best to encourage you (with no pressure) anyway. ^___^

I'm not qualified to speak on Mello, but I can speak a little on Leela. I haven't caught as many of her threads as I should so far (have been fail at stalking in general), but I think your voice for her is right on the money, especially with all the nods to the canon source material. :D It's very entertaining to read but without being overly gimmicky or overdone, IMHO. For example, I may have mentioned this before somewhere else (can't recall exactly), but the reference to the episode where Fry plays "Baby Got Back" and she calls it "classical music"... brilliant. Her feisty, ass-kicking spirit really shines through, as well -- a great example being the intro post when she first discovers that she now has binocular vision. ;) I can't wait to see what happens when she gets to meet the rest of the patient population the next day.

The first thing I thought when we started our thread was that I was really impressed with his voice. I could literally hear the American voice actor in my head, saying everything that Gren was saying; I could see him lounging with Faye on screen, saying all of that - it was so him! Your references are spot on, and the length of your tags made for just enough detail as to not overwhelm me with info.

What I'm really interested in seeing is how he actually reacts to that roommate. For some reason, it makes me lol and cringe at the same time. XD I'm just really excited to see where you take him in this game, overall.

I don't have any real crit for either the Scarecrow or Edgar, other than what I've already said a gazillion times before (and it hasn't changed -- I think you do a lovely job with both), so it wouldn't really qualify as anything useful here. ;)

However, since I've gotten to thread with Guybrush and didn't know anything about him before, I do have something new to contribute, although since I don't know his canon (and damnit, that should definitely change! :D ), I'm not qualified to give crit on ICness or anything like that. I can, however, give my impressions of how he comes across, after having threaded with him, if that helps. I get the sense that he's very congenial and friendly, gullible and a bit socially clumsy, but still willing to do right even though he's a pirate. He comes across as something of a roguish, but romanticist adventuring type, if that makes any sense. And from what little I've read from the Wiki article you linked me to, that seems to be right on the money. =) He's a lot of fun to read and to thread with, and though our thread ended early, I hope to get to thread with him again sometime. (Incidentally, thanks for working with me and being so patient and bearing with me. XD; )

And then to drag out the metaphor there's a sign floating in the air that says WOLVERINE IS NOT LIKE THAT YOU FOOL. SOME WRITERS HAVE EXTREMELY CONFLICTING BELIEFS ON THIS. Okay so this is sort of a reverse-HMD, but I guess it involves Kurt AND Logan SO IDK, now's as good a time as any to ask? :<

When we first spoke, I remember you saying that Kurt and Logan are BFF, which I totally support (since it's, y'know canon and stuff for your Logan. :|). I'm just wondering if I'm doing enough to convey this relationship/if you're just playing Logan as being really thrown by Kurt's age, because I'm not exactly feeling the connection yet. And maybe this is totally premature, but if I'm doing something that's hindering you, I definitely want to know before it becomes an issue or something. :3

You already know how much I love your Javert, even though I don't know his canon. What I really like about how you write him is how concise and easy the prose is to read, and yet I still get a sense of his subtly sarcastic tone (with a dash of subtle self-righteousness when dealing with certain individuals, let's just say ;) ). But much more than that, and more importantly, his willingness to do good deeds, his intelligence, and his investigative skills shine through nicely, not only through prose but also his bulletin board posts. The "swapping amusing anecdotes" cover on the board was a lovely display of his canniness.

Aside from that, since I don't really know his canon, I can't really give any crit on characterization (nor any on Soma, sorry).

The only one I've seen is Renamon, and I don't know her canon, but since you asked how your characters come off, I am at least somewhat qualified to do that much. ;) I haven't read enough of her to get too many of the nuances of her character, but at least on the surface, in a nutshell, she comes across to me as very philosophical and pensive, with a penchant for playfulness (which is expressed well in this recent thread (http://community.livejournal.com/damned/836534.html?thread=67274166#t67274166)). Less recently, her conversations with Edgeworth are a great example of her reflective nature, and I remember her heading out in the hall a few night shifts ago, no plans in mind but looking forward to some light-hearted mischief.

Unfortunately, since I don't in fact know her canon, that's pretty much all I've got for now, sorry. =( I hope this was the kind of input you were looking for?

Even though I don't know Xemnas' canon, since I've threaded with him, I do feel somewhat qualified to speak on him. To me, he comes across as... well, not quite conniving, and not quite manipulative, because in order for someone to truly be such, they'd have to actually be caring of the outcome, and he seems more like... well, not quite in it for "teh lulz" either. XD I don't know if that makes any sense. (Ugh, I fail so hardcore at describing things.) In other words, for a character that's supposed to be lacking a heart and emotion, you're doing a pretty good job there at having him show it. The prose and inner thoughts help that, too.

Speaking of which, you handle that beautifully, just as with Scar's prose. It's descriptive and a very easy read, and while they're both different characters, I get the feel that they're distinct from each other from your prose, which could easily be very challenging to do for multiple characters with similar basic mindsets (this is why I've decided against playing another villain).

The only actual crit I've had has already been addressed some time ago, and I actually haven't noticed it come up since then (and it was a minor thing anyway). So... all else I am qualified to say is, keep up the great work! And also, thanks for being such a patient and wonderful person to thread with, too!

Things have gotten a little heavy recently with the DC/MK cast, I think, which may sort of be bogging Kaito's less-serious side down a bit? I'm not suggesting he should be all "Y SO SRS HATTORI, LOOK, COIN IN YOUR EAR 8D", but it may be the reason you feel a little concerned?

Maybe you just need to get Kid out some night or other--then maybe you can get the juice flowing again. :3 ♥

Hi there!

I wanted to say that I'm so stoked to see your Natalia in this game. Her attitudes toward waking up in a new world seem very IC. I particularly enjoy some of the details you put in there, like her not being able to pronounce Connecticut right, being confused by the Earth literature, and asking who the ruler of Texas is. You do a good job of conveying her pride, royal refinement and curiosity.

One thing I suggest working on, though, is making her dialogue sound more natural. For example, when looking at her most recent thread, I noticed she never uses contractions, when she actually uses them fairly often in canon. When you don't use any contractions at all, I think her dialogue becomes elongated at parts where shortening it up would actually make it sound more fluid and accentuate the formal parts.

I don't know if you have a copy of the ToA script or not, but glancing through that a little might help you get a better feel for how to go about balancing the formal wording with making it sound more natural. (You can download it here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/ya5v1x) if you want. ♥ )

Once again, though, I'm loving your Natalia, and I'm very excited to see her in the game. Keep up the good work!

No, really. It's amazing how normal Klavier's reactions are. Being in a place like Damned, Klavier acts like a normal guy and that is so refreshing. You've never strayed from that, either. Everything always has so much voice in it, and he's great to read.

Only thing I would say? Don't stress about the length of stuff and just have fun. If you're getting caught on something or a part in the tag, try a different way. =P
