IMPORTANT! EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT! + DELAY

As some of you might already know, we have a big, Institute-wide event planned for tonight. And, as some of you might have guessed from the ominous weather and the steadily increasing rain, as well as the warning about difficulty with moving around your character, the event is none other than….

THE PORTALS EVENT!

...Although your character will get soggy if they end up outside. Poor soggy patients. :(

PREMISE
Each time your character opens a door tonight, they will discover that it does not, in fact, lead to the area that they originally thought. Instead, each group going through a door will be suddenly transported to a completely random area, never knowing where, exactly, they might end up in the Institute… or perhaps even outside of it. This might work out very well for them or very poorly, but one thing's for sure: they'll go through the night very, very confused.

For some of the patients, the scope of the event might end here, but some might get a little (un)luckier during their travels. In fact, each time a group goes through a portal, there will be a 1/8 chance that the group will end up in the home world of a group member. Of course, it won't be permanent, and there will be enough limitations to assure the characters that they are still very far from escaping, but that hopefully won't make the experience any less shaking.

RANDOMIZATION
Each time a group goes through a portal-door, an NPC Mod must personally randomize for the area. We've already asked the NPC Mods about pitching in, since there will clearly be a lot of randomization that needs to be done, and they have graciously agreed. We're going to shortly make a post to the lounge that is specifically dedicated to randomization requests: when your character/group goes through a portal, you/a representative for your group will comment there and any NPC mod who happens to be at the computer and available at the time will do a quick randomization for you. HOWEVER, we would like to stress that if you receive a Home World roll, you must give one of the Head Mods the details on it before any of the group members go through the door. More details below.

PORTALS
Not all doors are portals, and some non-doors do count as portals.

NON-portals include:

Any doors within the patient blocks (patient doors, bathroom doors, doors to the hallways, etc.) We're hoping that through this, characters will generally be able to meet up with their buddies for the night before getting involved in the event.
Stairs (if not specifically marked as such), such as the 1st-to-2nd floor staircases, etc.
• Some areas might be bundled together (for example, the door between the Hall of Armor and the Weapons Range, or between the Room of Earth and its next counterpart, would not count as portals; only when the characters left the entire trial area would they be transported.)

PORTALS include:

All doors not specifically mentioned above (some exceptions; will be revealed as the event continues)
Trap doors (such as to the basement)
Jumping over a wall (Courtyard/Rec Field/Greenhouse Yard, etc.); as soon as your character jumped down, they would land somewhere else.
Exiting a general outdoor area. (if your character were transported to the center of the forest, for example, they would suddenly teleport somewhere else when they reached the edge of it.)

INCLUDED AREAS
The NPC Mods have been given a master list of all the areas included in the event, but the list will not be released to any players, as we'd like to keep the scope of the teleporting a surprise…

GOING THROUGH A PORTAL
As your character goes through a portal, they will feel some basic disorientation and then find themselves in the new area, as if they'd just walked/run/jumped into it instead of their intended destination. All characters in the group would be able to get through, but once the last group member had entered the new area, the door would automatically close behind them. If for some reason, the door were to be closed when only part of the group had gone through, the door would lead to a new area when re-opened and the group members would be stranded from each other. Conversely, if group members were to try to keep the door open while their buddies went into the next area to explore, the door would automatically shut itself once the scouting group members took more than a couple of steps away from it. However, with the exception of a Home World, your group members could spend as much time as they wanted in a single area before leaving. Hopefully, you guys can think of some interesting ways to use these rules to your developmental advantage!

MOVEMENT BETWEEN PORTALS
In a room with only one door (e.g. Music Room, janitor's closet), your group would simply have to return through the same door in order to reach a new area. However, in a room with multiple doors or exits (e.g. Sun Room, Rec Field), your group would first appear at the "main" door (in the Sun Room, the southmost door, in an outdoor area, one of the doors from the main building; if unclear, just use your best discretion) and find that returning through that same door would take them back into the area that they were just standing in! It would only be when they crossed the area and proceeded through a different door that they would continue into a new area. This is an attempt to prevent…

ABUSING PORTALS
We understand that having a group go back and forth between a single door in an effort to get them somewhere "good" can be a tempting prospect to players and possibly even to their characters as well. However, in an attempt to keep things running as smoothly as possible throughout this crazy night and also to save the sanity of our NPC Mods, we ask that you be reasonable with how quickly your character moves from area to area. As a trade-off to not having to deal with as many hallways, we ask that you have your characters explore the newfound areas as thoroughly as ICly possible, and, indeed, the Head Doctor himself will be none too pleased if his convoluted method to keep the man down ends up benefitting the patients instead…

PUNISHMENTS FOR ABUSING PORTALS
Since we understand that some patients might ICly do what players may not, we have given NPC Mods clearance to dole out IC punishments for too much portal-jumping from a particular group. (While we can't give a definite requests-per-day type limitation given the newness of the event, we're fully confident that the NPC Mods will be able to recognize it when they see it.) Some of these IC punishments include: an area's doors/exits being locked for a certain amount of posts, a group being dumped and locked into a Solitary Confinement for a certain amount of posting rounds, nasty monsters being thrown at your group, and whatever else the NPC Mods might come up with and have approved by us. In extreme cases of OOC portal-abuse, an NPC Mod may request from the Head Mods that a particular group's Home World randomization privilege be suspended for the rest of the event.

HOME WORLD RULES
Now, the part you've been scanning this tl;dr to get to! In the event that your group is given the chance to visit a character's home world, you may choose one of two scenarios for them to experience. In both cases, your character will arrive in a place of personal significance in their home universe and it will be either at the point in time at which they were taken or a point in time consistent with how many days they have spent at the Institute. (For example: If your character was taken from May 17, 2007 and has been here for five days, then they could either appear at May 17, 2007 or May 22, 2007.) If your group contains multiple characters from the same canon and/or the Institute contains multiple characters from the same canon who are taken from points in time that would realistically contradict each other, you must choose a way to work this out amongst your canonmates for the purpose of the event.

Given those parameters, the two scenarios you can pick from are:

1) Your character (and their group) appears in the player-chosen area. Everyone in the group who is also from that particular home universe will find that they have regained their clothes, equipment, powers, and physical state consistent with the point in time at which they left (or be completely healed of all current wounds). (All non-home universe characters will remain unchanged.) While all members of the group may interact with the environment as though it is real, they will find that the entire "world" is completely devoid of any other people – and that it may perhaps contain foes of an Institute or canon-based nature. If they do encounter any enemies in that area, they may freely use any tools or abilities available to them while still within the world, but when they leave and/or appear in Landel's again, all the home universe characters will find they have reverted back to the physical state in which they left, without any of their clothes, equipment, or abilities. A character from that particular home universe may choose ONE item (subject to approval/limitation by the mods) to bring back with them to the Institute. This is the only item that the group as a whole will be able to keep from that particular world.

2) Your character (and their group) appears in the player-chosen area. Everyone in the group (including anyone from the home universe) remains in the same physical state with the same outfit and equipment. The area will contain as many people as it usually would, possibly including major canon-based characters who are not currently at the Institute. However, while they can view the actions of these characters, members of the group will find that they cannot fully interact with the physical environment, as if they are ghosts; they cannot be heard, seen, or felt by the world-based characters. This is unfortunate, because the world-based characters would currently be dealing with your character's sudden or extended absence in a way consistent with the time frame and with their characterization. (The actions/dialogue of the world-based characters would be written from the perspective of your own character, within their own posts. The details of this should be worked out between your canonmates and with the Head Mods)

Clearly, your group couldn't have access to the entire world, so when you are notified of your randomization success, you must choose a concrete portion of the world (an area, a room, a building) that has canon-based importance to them. (It does not have to be of world-shattering importance, but it can't be picked for random, fanon, or purely lulzy reasons.) To give an example, Sora could end up on the play island of Destiny Islands, but not Tarzan's treehouse. If ANY characters in your group are from differing canons, you must choose whose world it is among yourselves or ask one of the HEAD MODS to randomize for you.

Although a group may enter multiple home worlds during the night, each individual character may only enter their own home universe once during the night. If, in the event that two different groups get a Home World roll and all the group members would like to meet in a single home universe, or split up and rejoin in a home universe, any other reasonable/minor event customizations, etc., the proposed details may be discussed with the Head Mods. However, this might make our decision take longer and any proposals are certainly not guaranteed approval.

REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU CHOOSE, YOU MUST CLEAR ALL ASPECTS (whose world, what part of the world, the boundaries, the world-based characters, the one item) WITH A HEAD MOD BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE THREAD.

---

REGARDING SPECIAL COUNSELING TONIGHT:
We know that tonight was supposed to be a Special Counseling night, but we realized fairly quickly as we were planning the event that it would be unfair to SCers, as there'd be no telling whether or not any groups of characters would show up in areas long enough to actually be viable victims. For that reason, we're going to be switching to M-U for this Nightshift if any of the people who are eligible would like to take part in it despite the event going on. The players currently eligible are: E, Korii, Tim, Acacia, Shira, and Stefan. If any of you would like to do M-U this Nightshift (with a character who was not accepted during this most recent cycle), please let us know! In the event that we do not get all five slots filled, we will open up a poll for other players to offer up their characters.

----

I… think that's pretty much all the important stuff! Given the nature of the event and all the logistics that we'll be dealing with, we're sure that we haven't yet covered quite everything that could realistically come up during the night. As such, please feel free to ask any questions you might have and we will try our best to answer them! However, please try to keep them to issues that you are relatively sure would occur and be relevant to your character or to the player body in general, as we unfortunately have limited time in which to answer questions. ;;

NPC MODS: We will be posting a mod-specific information post to [livejournal.com profile] damned_mods shortly, so please hold on until then to ask any clarifying questions about what you'll be doing or anything that might contain event spoilers. :X

SO! That's the event, and we hope that you guys have fun with it and are looking forward to some surprises! Thanks for your patience in reading everything and we hope to tackle any problems that may arise!

Also, we can't remember who originally suggested an event like this, but er... CREDIT WHERE CREDIT'S DUE? |D

ALSO SORRY FOR TYPOS OR GENERAL FAIL I'M TIRED K

ETA: Given how we'd like to give NPC Mods a chance to acclimate to the system and players a chance to rework their plans for the night, (as well as give players some more time to wrap up Doyleton backthreads) I AM MAKING THE EXECUTIVE DECISION to delay the shift change for one more day. ...PLEASE DON'T KILL ME COURT UM if a bunch of you want the change, though, lemme know and I can do it in a few hours. 8D;

Homeworld details: In The World R:2, the MMORPG both Haseo and Endrance were pulled from, the world itself is divided into both specific servers and an almost infinite amount of areas within them. In this case, we're going to be going to the Omega Server, which consists only of the root town, Lumina Cloth.

The town itself, however, is one of the largest areas in R:2, containing several shops, the @HOME (guild area) for Icolo, and the PvP arena. I'd like for them to at least be able to look around the Arena, though going into Icolo's guild or trying to use the Chaos Gate system to travel elsewhere will serve as a portal.

The time frame will be consistent with when Haseo was pulled into Landel's, meaning they will appear in the area immediately after the end of the fight with Sakaki. We'll be going with scenario 1, unless it's possible to bring back an item with #2?

Also, since this is an MMORPG world, the 'log out' command clearly won't work. Their experience would be similar to one that happened in canon where a server was 'copied' - meaning that they could access menus and such, but not log out.

Item brought back: Endrance's Lost Weapon (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070308165135/dothack/images/0/0e/Endranceweapon.jpg), Tempting Rose. At the canon point Haseo's taken from, he would have it in his possession. In the game, it has the effect of charming enemies when it hits, but it will just be a regular (if pretty) sword with no special magic effects in Landel's. (I just did a gameplay check - the spikes look like they're actually attached to the sword when En's using it, so they'd be attached.)

Tifa and Logan will end up in Gaia with scenario 1. They will start at Mt. Nibel and if possible, can their area include Nibelheim as well? I am still waffling about what item, but it's between Tifa's God's Hand or probably an ice materia. Can I remain undecided for now?

Ange, Rolo, and Sync will end up in the streets of Tokyo by one of its university hospitals as seen in Ange's homeworld. We'd actually like to request they "enter" into this world by falling from the 200-meter skyscraper that Ange jumped off in canon. We will be going with scenario 1 for the panty shots.

The item I would like for her to retrieve is her cousin Maria's diary. As for item limitations, the only entries she can talk about in [livejournal.com profile] damned are the ones mentioned in canon. If we ever get a Maria player, I will consult with them on other entries that diary might contain.

Sakura, Touya, and Yue will be going back to Tomoeda, Japan for their homeworld in scenario one. Since Sakura's been at the institute for a week and left the night at the end of The Nothing incidents, it will be about a week after The Nothing incidents to give a set time. We were thinking about having the boundaries include the Kinomoto household, the front yard, and a bit of the surrounding neighborhood (probably just the street(s) immediately by the house). They'll start in the Kinomoto household.

As for the item, we were thinking about bringing one Sakura Card back for Sakura, but I haven't decided on the limitations yet or which card. I'll try and figure that out ASAP though.

Okay so, we'd like to have Brainy and S.T. go to Colu, specifically Brainiac 5's old lab there since it will be full of techy goodness and bad memories. The lab complex itself would probably be fairly large, but they'd likely not go to more than one or two rooms? So hopefully that's not much of a problem.

As for what item he'd get back, if possible could he get an omnicom? It's basically a handheld miniature computer with scanning and communication abilities, network connections, etc. In Damned though, I'd probably limit it to really basic functions - Brainy would use it to store his notes and information, maybe copy maps into it and take it with him instead of carting around a journal. It wouldn't be able to scan or patch into communications networks or the internet or anything. SO LIKE. A mini computer with a touch screen and only Word and MS Paint. :| The only thing I'm not sure about and would probably leave up to you guys is how much battery life it has, since in the comics it's... apparently infinite. Or something. idk and it's past one am.

FAILING THAT. Uh, season one did imply he had a forcefield belt like the comics versions in one episode, even though it makes no goddamn sense since he's a robot and it was built into him every other time. So I could work with something there?

All right, letting you know this is all fine! For the omnicom thing, sounds good so long as he has to input everything manually, so he'd have to type (if it has a keyboard?) notes and draw maps and stuff. It could have infinite battery life since its functions are so limited.

Homeworld details: Forks is a very, very small town (about the size of Doyleton, I think) slash logging community that's located in Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula, close to Olympic National Park’s Pacific Ocean beaches and the Hoh River Rain Forest (except we're going to keep it exclusively to Forks). The town has all the usual buildings that are necessary - police and fire departments, town hall, schools, etc. There are a few areas I want to focus on, specifically: Forks Police Station, the Cullen's house, Bella's house, and the meadow (which is about a mile away from the Cullen's). Um... canon's pretty vague on descriptions, but Bella's house is just like... a two story, pretty small thing, while Edward's is more of a grand Victorian styled thing. The meadow's what's in the name.

Uh... the date's going to be June 17th, 2007. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE?

Item: CAN HE BRING BACK HIS ASTON MARTIN?? okay no but really I haven't really... thought of anything he could bring back yet, so can I update this later? D: OKAY THOUGHT OF SOMETHING. In the movie, Bella's dad is shown with a 12 gauge double barreled shotgun, so I'd like him to... steal that from her house. And since it's a double barrel it's only going to have two shells in it, so...

Doyleton item query

[personal profile] ryuuzaki 2010-06-04 07:33 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't sure whether to ask this on Plurk or here, so I figured it might be more appropriate here.

I looked up what items might be found in an Ace Hardware store (since most of the small hardware shops I've visited are Ace) and came up with a few possibilities for L to grab from Bill's, but I'm not sure which of these are viable as things that might actually be there. My guess is that the plain hatchets are a good bet, while the combo axes (with stuff hidden in their handles) and the hunting knife might not be?

Every one of them comes with some kind of attached sheath.

Estwing Sportsman's Hatchet - smallish, high-end for a hatchet, metal handle and sharp head are all one piece. Leather sheath. This Camp Axe is really similar.

Fiskars 17" Splitting Axe - Basic axe with unbreakable fiberglass handle and sheath.

Gerber Camp Axe with Sheath - Another basic small axe; similar features to the Fiskars version.

Gerber Gator Combo Axe - This is like the basic axes except that a small saw-knife slides out of the handle. There's another version that's more of a hatchet than an axe, with a small knife in the handle.

Fiskars Brush Axe - Hatchet/machete combo. 9" heavy blade with nonstick coating, unbreakable handle, sheath made of handle material.

Buck Alpha Hunter Folding Knife - Pretty serious folding hunting knife that works well for gutting and skinning deer. (I totally wouldn't even be asking about this if it hadn't come up when I was looking at other stuff on a hardware store site. But, just in case....)

Just a small question before I submit Chise's homeworld details.

Chise and Leela will be heading to Chise's homeworld, which is an unnamed town next to a fishing port she and her boyfriend will end up(several days after from the time she was taken). They'll explore the place under Scenario (2).

The boundaries will stretch from the broken down house she eventually lives in, to the pier which is several blocks from the house. This area will also include a small ramen shop and several broken down shops they can explore. If they try to travel outside of town they'll be warped out.

Thanks.

Claude, Ronixis and Prussia will be going back to Star Ocean 1's starcruiser Calnus under option 1. They will be starting out on the bridge, and the boundaries will include the entirety of the ship. They will be warped out if they try to enter the shuttlebay area.

They will encounter an institute-based creature at some point.

The item they will bring back is a Federation issue phase gun. As for limitations, it could only shoot 3 times per night on stun mode. It would probably kill small creatures like roaches and rats, stun medium-sized creatures like dogs and flesh-eating squirrels, and then just cause burns to anything larger than that. Since it would be locked on such a low energy setting and only able to fire a few times a night, the gun's battery would be able to hold out for at least a couple of weeks within Landel's.

Also, quick question: since their rolls were consolidated with mod permission for them to meet up in the same place, would it be possible for Claude to arrive first, and then have Prussia and Ronixis arrive within a few minutes after him? I was told we could do this, but I wanted to verify that it was okay with a homeworld roll too.

Thanks.

Minako, England, and America will be going to Azabu-Juuban, Tokyo, specifically Juuban Municipal High School and maybe a few blocks around it. (I'm not expecting they'll get too far, really, unless they decide to go sightseeing.) And we're going with Option 1.

We also want them to run into monster(s) at some point so America and England can see Minako's naked transformation sequence. :|

As for what we're going to bring back... are we allowed something a little less tangible? I want Minako to bring back an ability to transform into Sailor Venus -- the item she uses to transform (the Venus Crystal) is kind of inside her all the time, as far as I can tell, so she can't really take it back with her 'cause she already has it. But maybe being there will kind of, idk, charge it up so she has a very limited use of it at Landel's? Basically, she'd be able to transform for a few rounds, which would give her additional strength/speed/etc and the ability to use a weaker version of one of her attacks. (If that's okay I'll work out more specific details &c. ^^;)

... Would it be at all possible to arrange a meetup between Lelouch's group and Nunnally's? The sort described here (http://community.livejournal.com/damned_lounge/2246218.html?thread=33236042#t33236042), although I have to admit that I wish it were possible to have them all go to, er, a safe location so that the requisite explosion of melodramatics wouldn't get them nommed or something. ... Homeworld Details - Death Note (L)

[personal profile] ryuuzaki 2010-06-08 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
This is for the "empty homeworld" option.

Characters - L and Lunge

Location - The office tower L built in Tokyo as a headquarters for the Kira investigation. It will not be possible to go outdoors from the tower except within its boundaries -- that is, it will be possible to go outside on the roof, but nowhere else. It will also be possible to get into the helicopter on the roof, but any attempt to lift off will result in arriving back at the Institute.

Time - The wee hours of 2 November 2004, just after L's disappearance.

Item - I'm really not sure which of the two of these would be better or more allowable.
- L had a gun in that helicopter, which I'd imagine that he may have moved to an indoor safe. That's one option. I'd bring it back with however many bullets are allowed. With this choice, I need to figure out why he would decide to try to retrieve it, though... possibly just paranoia.
- Another option, if it would run back at the Institute (and could be plugged in under the bed or something) would be a circa-2004 MacBook Pro -- one of L's favorite pets personal laptops. This would mostly be used for a more extensive sense of security w/r/t what information he's gathered.

Last question - Lunge did the move link and the randomization roll, but we kind of figured that since it's L's homeworld, it might be easier if I wrote and made the top-level homeworld location post. Is that all right? (If not, I'll just write up the description of the place for Claire to incorporate into her post.)

Okay, this sounds good! If you do choose the computer, we will have to work out the limitations on it at some point, but the world description itself sounds fine so you guys can proceed with your thread and such.

As for your last question, it's fine for you to make the first post! I think Maia and I did the same. Yeah, check this (http://community.livejournal.com/damned/900119.html?thread=69771031#t69771031) out.

Homeworld Details - Rockman

[identity profile] runner-up-robot.livejournal.com 2010-06-10 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
o/ Hello! Sechs and Forte just got a homeworld roll, and we would like to take option 2/the ghost option. I already went over a scenario with Andro over PM and he agreed to it, so I would just like mod approval.

Location: Dr. Wily's Lab, Skull Castle, Undisclosed location
Canon NPCs: Dr. Wily, Gospel
Time: Two weeks after Forte disappeared (consistent with his time at Landel's).

Because Dr. Wily's castle is destroyed in every game and constantly moved/rebuilt/redesigned, it's just the same generic lair that Forte was last in. The location would be limited to the laboratory, and some of the surrounding hallways, mostly because there wouldn't be anything or anyone else of interest outside of that area, due to the game's (and my own) extreme lack of canon details.

This sounds fine!

Homeworld details - Detective Conan (Shinichi)

[identity profile] colortheory.livejournal.com 2010-06-10 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
We’re going with Door Number One, guys. :D Empty home world.

Characters: Kudou Shinichi and Scott Pilgrim

Location: Mouri Detective Agency, Tokyo, Japan

Time: The night that Conan/Shinichi was taken; sometime in the wee hours of the morning on whatever date chapters 638-640 takes place. There’s a sliding timescale in Detective Conan.

Item: Shinichi will be grabbing his sedative dart-shooting watch. It’s got one dart already loaded, and I’m going to say that it has three spare darts as well. Canon isn’t very clear about how many there are in reserve, just that only one dart can be shot at a time.

An additional note: SHINICHI WILL BE TURNED INTO CONAN FOR THE DURATION OF THE TIME THAT THEY ARE IN THE HOME WORLD . This means he’s a seven year old in little boy PJs, since that's consistent with the state he was in when he was taken to Landel's. He’ll be back to normal once they leave the home world—in this case, that means leaving the apartment building that the Mouri Detective Agency is housed in.

We just need some more details on what the sedative would be able to do. Other than that, looks fine!

Homeworld details (Grell Sutcliffe)

[identity profile] notachick.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Characters: Grell Sutcliffe and Muraki Kazutaka

Location: Death God Headquarters, London Branch [Although we don't see it in the manga, the anime shows it in fairly good detail. It's a large parliament looking white building and the insides are similarly pristine. Screenshots from the anime are here (http://animay.net/gallery2/thumbnails.php?album=543&page=2) for better reference. They'll be transported to within the headquarters main lobby and if they try to leave through the front doors, then they'll get portal'd again.]

Time: One week following Grell's disappearance.

Item and restriction: If possible, I'd like to get Grell's actual chainsaw back - meaning his death scythe. The restrictions on it, however, is that he won't be able to pop it out of hammerspace of course and using it for his special skill (Cinematic Record) will leave him at half power/drained to the point of sleepiness and lethargy for the rest of the night. He can only use that skill once every two days. It won't require gas or charging but it will use his power/soul for energy. If he uses it for a fight, he will lose twice as much energy as he would with a normal chainsaw and thus tire much more quickly than he normally would.

Choice: Going for the second one where he and Muraki will be ghosts to the others in the world.

The world details and so forth look fine, but if you choose the ghost option, that means that an item can't be brought back, so he wouldn't be able to take the chainsaw. Sorry about that!

homeworld -> Eva pilots

[personal profile] hasnomeaning 2010-06-11 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Our kids will be going to the Eva hanger in their world, at an unmentioned time before the end of the series, since, A. they are all from different points, and B. we would be going with option one, so the timeline should not matter as much. They will most likely be popping in their Evas and heading to the surface, but their Evas are limited by umbilical cords, and their radius before returning to the Institute would be the cords' length. (which... I don't know. XDDD; a few blocks, maybe?)

As for what it being brought back, another in our party will update with a comment when that decision is made.

Since I'm not sure where Erin is and time is short, I'm going to say that this looks fine. XD;; Let us know when you figure out the item!

Homeworld - Gaia Costa Del Sol

[identity profile] zalia.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Characters: Cissnei, Taura, Rika

Location: Costa Del Sol from Crisis Core, on the beach and it will extend from the top of the stairs at the top of the beach which lead into the town, to a few metres into the ocean, as well for about a hundred metres on either side, taking in deckchairs and parasols. The area will be completely devoid of people as in option 1. This area has been chosen as an area of importance to Cissnei because it's a place where she seemed genuinely happy and relaxed and had an important conversation with Zack. Because it's a fairly standard location, time period shouldn't matter.

Item: The item that they'll be receiving is 1 cure-1 materia. This will allow minor healing 3 times a night. Each use will heal only a few minor injuries (claw marks, grazes, bruises etc). To heal a medium injury such as a reasonably sized monster bite, the materia will have to be used twice. To heal a larger injury, such as a stab wound, all 3 shots of the materia will have to be used and only one wound will be healed. After all 3 uses, the materia will go dark and be useless for the rest of the night.

Okay. This all looks fine to me and I'm not sure where Erin is, so I'm just going to approve it. The area is good to go, and I think the item will be okay, but I'll let you know if Erin says that it has to be changed somehow. But you can at least proceed with the thread this way.
