Plot Post, the Second!

Since people were requesting it, we're opening up a second PLOT POST so that you can rework plans, figure out what would happen in the event that your group gets to go to a home world, and so forth! This doesn't have to be quite as formal, so no need for forms or anything. Just toss your thoughts here, yell for your threadmates to come talk to you, and so forth!

Uhhh, let's see, I think Kaworu's "place of significance" would probably be either his apartment... or where he died down in front of Lilith. There might be other more interesting options amongst our little group.

Also, option 1 or 2? Kaworu is the only one who would get powers back, but if we went with that version I'd be happy to have him freak everyone out with his Angelic arsenal.

OKAY, I've spoken to Court a little, but. Homeworld stuff for Cloud, Yuffie, and Zack.

Yuffie's place of significance, according to her current timeline, would be the Wutai capital during the war against Deepground. We know from DoC cutscenes that there was heavy fighting there, as well as in Midgar. As for the item, I don't know. \o/ There's nothing from that time that I'd be interested in, so I'd leave that to you guys to decide.

I am, of course, totally willing to go elsewhere. 8D

ANYWAYS
There are a number of possibilities, with places that are significant to one or more cast member, and possible things to grab. So far the suggestions I see are:
Flotsam Island (Everyone but Elaine thanks to the timeline)
Mêlée Island (Everyone but Morgan)
Monkey Island/Carnival of the Damned (Everyone but Morgan, though she would have at least heard of them)
The Crossroads (Only LeChuck thanks to the timelines)

No matter where they go, my personal preference for an item to take back remains the same: Rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle

A rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle would be amazing! I'm confident that they'd find a nigh-infinite number of ways to put it to good use.

The Crossroads has the neat twist of what Kristyn mentioned in the last post, but my favorite choice is the Carnival of the Damned. It would be a fun place to send them, and might have the added bonus of convincing the other three that LeChuck really is behind all this, even if he denies it. It might be the closest thing to a place that's significant to everyone (since it's meaningful to Elaine at this point by way of Guybrush and to Morgan because it's the site of one of the biggest Threepwood legends). It's also a contained area, which would be good for this event. (Maybe the chicken could be a carnival prize?)

That said, any place in the Monkey Island world would be a blast, so I'd be up for anywhere if someone else has a particular preference.

von Karma is going to be staying in his room all night, fighting off the start of a nasty cold (from being out in the nasty weather, and cooped indoors with all the germ-ridden riffraff XD ).

So... this is mostly a heads up to Ratchet-mun that there may or may not be a visitor in the form of vK's daughter. Let me know if that would pose any problems, or if Ratchet will be sleeping, so that if I post to M62 first, how I should regard Ratchet. If possible, I'd like to assume that they were both awake but glaring at each other in silence, or... something. XD;

If you're looking to get Naruto to be with castmates, we could plan to have him split off from Sokka (and Kagura?) sometime in the night from a portal and potentially end up with someone from his world. I'll snag Mika on AIM to see what she thinks, but let me know what you would like!
