Oktoberfest '10: The Language of Flowers, by Kaze
Title: The Language of Flowers
Author: Kaze
Beta: Nyet
Word Count: ART PACKET sort of
Rating: Horrid /sob
Character(s): Anise, Yomi, Manfred von Karma, Sora and Friend
Pairing(s): None
Summary: I got ambitious this year and decided to try my hand at art. It was...kind of fail, but I tried. These are the sketches. I'll be finishing up the color later since I...had no time to do it during the deadline. /sob
Also, each flower is labeled under the picture along with the meaning in hanakotoba (Japanese flower language) or Victorian flower language.
Notes: I am so late. orz And the images are kind of huge, so open only if you can risk it on your computers.

Anise; Kingcup/Buttercup: Cheerfulness, childishness, desire for riches
[Link for those who can't see the image]

Yomi; Snapdragons: Gracious lady, deception
[Link for those who can't see the image]

Manfred von Karma; Orange Lily/Tiger Lily: Hatred, revenge, death to the recipient
[Link for those who can't see the image]
And finally, Sora with his new best friend. The aquila. Who he can ride into the sunset using the bulletin board notices overflowing with the light of his heart as bait. This...has nothing to do with the theme.

Sorry they're so late, and keep an eye here or to the cafe for when I upload the colored versions!

but seriously this is really cool and pretty :O;; how can you call this kind of fail?!
no subject
e___e It's fail because I didn't get them colored on time.

And LOL, Sora and the aquila! :D I especially love the detail in the creature's feathers. <3
(Also, now I'm going to have to look up flower language because this is a fascinating concept! :D )
Very well done, Kaze! <3 Really, I see no fail in any of these drawings, but LOTS of awesome. *___*

And LOL yeah, the feathers were a pain. D: I did....like a million sketches just of the bird. orz
Please do! Flower language is amazing and really enriches certain flower arrangements you see at stores.
; ; And thank you again. I only wish I'd been able to color in time.

For all the trouble that Sora's hair gave you, it turned out really well in the end. I'm really impressed by the detail that you did on the bird itself, though. Nice job, seriously!
The rest of the drawings are amazing too, and I really like the flower concept too. :3

And I ended up changing the angle until I found an easier one to draw. orz As for the bird, that was...the easy part. lololol /shot
I'm glad you like it though and thank you!
