CHARACTER PLOT POST: NIGHTSHIFT 58

This is the official Lounge post for players who want to plan out specific Nightshift threads ahead of time in order to foster desired kinds of interaction and character development. Allow us to stress that SCHEDULING THREADS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.

Please use the following template when commenting. We suggest bolding important points so that people who are scanning the post can get a quick idea of what you're looking for. You might also want to use the usernames of the characters whose attention you want so that people can easily ctrl+F to find things relevant to their interests. Character: Anise Tatlin
Interaction/Development Wanted: Anise is bringing a weapon to Tolten, but after that she's completely free. I might be interested in having her go on a supply run for medicine, or to look for patient files. She's flexible, though, so she can go do just about anything.
When: All night, after visiting M20.

Character: Rita Mordio
Interaction/Development Wanted: She got selected for drug trials and will possibly be turning into a ghost. Rita both rejects the existence of ghosts and is terrified of the idea of them, so she'll be a bit of a mess. She might just go find a room to hide in, so if anyone would like their character/group to happen upon her, that would be cool!
When: All night.

Gumshoe is going to check out the Med Wing for medical supplies tonight. Want them to team up? If not, no worries!

Oh, where should they meet? Is the main hallway good with you? Maybe the centre part since they're going in the same direction.

I have been hoping that someone would be going ghost from the drug trials. My character Brook is TERRIFIED of the supernatural, so I would love to have him see another patient becoming transparent/whatever have you and properly freak out.

I'm having Brook check out a friend's room early this NS, but I can get him anywhere following that. Do you think he could come across Rita somehow?

Sure! I'd love to have him.

I could have most of the transformation happen early on, and he could come across her in some room or a dark corner or something. Or would you rather they meet first so he can see the whole thing?

If she's a ghost before he meets her, he'll run away so fast that threading would not happen unless she decided to follow. He's just that pathetic. XP

So yeah, meeting first would be good. Brook will in the MB patient block when he finishes with the room visit, so what's the best way to meet up for you? I can get him to the larger hallways following that and have the potential to get him at least into the Female block (searching for another). Whatever would be best!

Okay! Then... maybe they can meet in the main hallway near the patient blocks? Rita might want to try to go to the medical wing to see if there's something that can stop the drug's effects, but they can change plans as things develop.

The Main Hallway 1-West then? That sounds like a good idea! I had the Infirmary being one of Brook's alternate destinations (since he's convinced his missing/dead friend is only injured and there), so I can definitely get him headed that way! Will get a posting as soon as I'm able!

Okay!

Since Rita will be in a frantic hurry, I can probably have her run into him in a literal sense, and they can get talking from there. (Although she may make for a miserable conversation partner.)

Crashing into him works. She'll probably take him down too since he's such a skinny pole/klutz.

He's heading through the Rec Field right now, so I've gotta wait a day in case something appears, but I should hopefully have him down into the Main hallway by Saturday. Sorry there's a delay! DX
