A few little issues~

So yes. Things that I wish to have addressed. :3

One - Tess, I know we're busy with the mind-meld thread right now, but you haven't posted to the Dias-Ashton-River backlog in awhile and I think Misu and I wanted to continue that a bit longer. :/ If you don't want to bother with it any longer, you can have River flit off and leave Dias and Ashton to discuss~

Two, to the mods - would someone mind backlogging a nurse for us once said mind-meld thread gets to the point where Schuldig starts screaming? I imagine he'd be sedated for his breakdown so I just wanted to give you guys the heads-up that we'll be needing someone even with the shift being over, since it's going to be a long thread and we're not quite finished yet.

Three - I know it's a hassle with the shift having already ended, but if anyone wants their characters to react to Schuldig having a screaming meltdown on the recreational field, he'll be doing that relatively soon. <3 I know that Yohji and Rufus and possibly Reno in particular might want to react.

Just remember that anyone who wants to actually approach Schuldig will have to deal with Crawford and, slightly more problematic, Farfarello. Reactions from a distance, obviously, will not result in cranky bitey psychopaths getting involved. ^_^

Err. Anyone other than a nurse trying to sedate Schuldig, that is. Sedation will obviously be more to Schuldig's benefit than detriment, and will be a-ok by Farf.

... As long as no one tries to blame HIM and sedate HIM. That would make him sulky, 'cause he totally didn't DO anything. This time. ;)

Ahhh, I'm sorry! I saw Ashton moved on and assumed that was the end of it. Will get to replying nowish. With her work done, it might be logical that she'd prance off. So I might go with that.

Oh, and is it implied that she's finding Schu around Nightshift? I know she wants to "take care of him" as thanks, but I wasn't sure if his buddies might have that covered. She'll probably at least stop by, yus. Just let me know.

She wants to go sit with him for a bit, but she won't stay if you have other things planned with the rest of the guys. Just let me know when a good time is? It might take her a bit to get there considering she's not used to being, well, you know, saneish.

Is he going to be meeting up with Rufus at all? If he's not up to it, is Farf still expected to play bodyguard? Because without Schu intervening between the two, it could be... interesting.

Hahaha, no prob! River is, like, the best matchmaker ever only not so much.

Yeah, no I know that. I feel bad enough as is, but I'm just on at a different time than everyone else. And I thought from reading the thread in the Courtyard that he'd run away or smth. I just... BLAH. I'm a spaz.

Oh, btw--sorry I wasn't able to get to you because of my super-busy weekend--but Court and I talked and I don't know how far you and Tess are into the mind-melding thing already, but yeah, we're going to have to to put major restrictions on it. :[ Basically, the side-effects Schuldig's gonna have are fine, but he won't be able to hand his pain off to anyone else, since... yeah, what he's doing is pushing the line already, and River's sane-ness is going to have to be extremely short--we're talking maybe one or two threads.

I'm really, really sorry, since I know both of you had such high expectations for it, but we really can't let you do something so serious while other characters have such weakened powers. It just isn't fair. I wouldn't have let you get your hopes so high if I'd known about it earlier (chalk it up to me being oblivious and busy with other stuff) but yeah, as mods, Court and I have to put our feet down on this, especially since Schuldig has it pretty good in the fact that he can hear surface thoughts pretty easily already.

Anyway, yeah. Sorry, guys. ._.

Also, Farfarello's post in the dinner shift has already referenced that...

Indeed. ^^; Several times, in fact.

And it's a unique experience for Farf, as much as for River--his one and only chance to really know what pain FEELS like.

[identity profile] jei.livejournal.com 2007-05-31 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but considering what it costs him to use his powers actively like that at Landel's, I don't see why he would. It would be unnecessary pain for himself.

*nod* But the "good reason" part is really iffy. *laugh* It's not like he's going to Learn His Lesson and stop doing stupid things even if he has to temporarily suffer the pain they cause. :P He likes it.

Would it be possible to put a major restriction on her as well and have it last longer? As in she won't be at all combat effective unless Schuldig uses the trigger that made her go ape shit in Serenity. And then she'll have to be put out of commission with the safe word to stop... well, going ape shit and attacking the nearest target. I don't want it mainly for her to be all badass. I just want it for her to have some clarity and interaction. I'd be fine with her losing the combat reflexes ingrained in her mind from all the conditioning for the duration of the "sanity."
