Forgive the play on an episode title

Greetings, Damned players. My name is Frudence (or just Fru) and I bring you one Nico Robin from the anime version of that epic shounen series with the pirates. I cobbled together a brief profile, but if you're interested in the tl;dr version then there's always her application. She's an academic, an assassin, and recovering stoic.

She also has powers that can freak out players and characters alike, so I set up a Powers and Permissions post for her. She's been severely limited for the start of her time in the game, but the basics remain: her power lets her create duplicate body parts on other people, namely your characters, but only if you give permission for her to do so. This power will be completely blocked during Day Shift.

I'm actually passingly aware of your other characters! The fact that Brook is human was one of the things I was most looking forward to, just because of how it'll weird Robin out more than if he were still a skeleton XDDD And also a tiny bit excited for him, at least at first.

This is my 3rd time trying to play her and I just hope she sticks here ;^; the slower pace should help that. She just analyzes so much and I only have so much time in a day DX

I'm Jansen, one of the Head Mods alongside Court (who read and responded to your application) and Psyche. Since I'm the most familiar with One Piece out of the three of us, I was asked to give your app a second look. Since I started a new job this week, though, it took me a little longer than normal to get to it. Just wanted to apologize for that delay and let you know that we're super stoked to have you!

Anyway, I play Claude C. Kenni (earthling) from Star Ocean 2, Woody Pride (pullstring) from Toy Story, and Barnaby Brooks Jr. (baniichan) from Tiger & Bunny.

Luffy was actually the first character I ever apped here, and I played him for several years, so I have a special place in my heart for One Piece characters. Really looking forward to seeing Robin around, and I'd love to get a chance to build CR with her! ♥

Anyway, while I don't know One Piece, Robin seems like a very cool character! I'm always really impressed by the amount of depth/backstory that the One Piece characters have when I read those apps.

fffff Thank you /o\ I tl;dr naturally, so I always try to edit myself multiple times in apps, but geez One Piece... such a huge canon. I was enabled into it awhile back and Robin being the stoic is pretty much the only character I could play. I'm not good enough at slapstick comedy to play anyone else in the crew XD Having an Anthropology degree IRL helps, since 90% of the time she's just doing culture analysis on historical societies anyway.

And that is such a fascinating span of characters you play! I look forward to interacting with them when you return from your hiatus. I'm most familiar with Sora (I play Riku Replica elsewhere), seen the Batman movies and old TV shows, read enough ToA apps I could almost walk through the game, and Lysoke gave me a passing knowledge of Supernatural since she's been marathoning it ^^;

Yeah, One Piece is like... so long, I don't even. I've always been curious about it but the length has intimidated me from getting too far in. But yeah, I can see how a lot of the other characters might be tough to play, judging from the tone of the show and stuff. And that's cool that you have a degree that can help you, hahaha!

Eeeeeee, Riku Replica! That's so cool. ♥ That's cool that you have some sort of familiarity with all of them, and Supernatural is a very fun show that's extremely addictive, so... 8D ANYWAY, I would love to plan any of them off of Robin sometime!

Late to this but HI FRU! I am Eryn. I just came back from hiatus this DS, so I don't know if you've seen me around or not, but I play Scott Pilgrim (of the similarly named Scott Pilgrim comics), Tenjou Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena), Rapunzel (Tangled), and Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). I'm also an NPC mod, and I play Dr. Peter Venkman (Ghostbusters) as a doctor and Sam (Spontaneous Combustion) as an NS-only antagonist.

I am not hugely knowledgeable about One Piece (I saw the first thirteen eps and Jango's Dance Carnival in the early 2000's and that was about it), but the characters have always been welcome sights in RP and I look forward to reading your Robin greatly. :D So welcome and enjoy!
