Summary: What if Landel's Institute was in the world of Animal Crossing...?
Notes: THIS IS PERHAPS THE LAMEST ENTRY EVER and I could have done more with it, but it's a little more difficult making things work/look the way you want them to in Animal Crossing than I had imagined.Nook not selling the items I needed didn't help me any, either. I also apologize for the eh-ish quality of the pictures...cellphone cameras can only do so much. But I hope this entry is enjoyable anyway!
So last Nightshift, Byrne got shot in the gut by a trollish little kid with a shotgun. Bam boom dead. Etc. Thanks Albedo.
But of course, Landel being the troll he is, that wasn't the end of Byrne's tale. He had to wake up eventually.
And when he did...he was in for a big surprise.

...This must be the residential area of Doyleton that I've never seen before
I don't remember writing this....
After wandering for a bit, Byrne comes across something useful on the ground:
Better safe than sorry.
What's with this huge house, anyway? The door is unlocked...is there anyone home?
...No, but this room looks suspiciously familiar...
The Bulletin Board is even here...
O...kay. What's upstairs?
...Of course

Well, I suppose it could be worse...Landel could be here...
...and I'll stop with trying to make this a narrative here. (I don't have any more good connected screenshots for that.)
SO AS YOU CAN SEE, I tried to model my house and two Animal Crossing characters after Damned folk. |D (Except Landel is genderbent, but that's okay. That actually happened today completely by chance - I saw the Doctor's outfit being sold and NABBED IT, and with my character's hairstyle and that mask.........yep.)
Let's have another shot of the upstairs with Landel, shall we?
Oh Landel, you're such an angel. 8)
This wasn't modeled after any particular room in the Institute, but it might closely resemble a doctor's room...? Ah well. I took this during the day because night shots look kind of awful 8( Also, there is a hidden stereo in here that plays K.K. Dirge!
And another shot of the Sun Room with Landel!
I tried to make the floor/walls match the description provided on Damned Info....and I also put that wave painting there for the same reason. I wish there was a way to mount the Bulletin Board on the actual wall, but oh well. SUN ROOM!
There was also a Recreational Field in the basement, but it ended up not being that great, so I didn't take any pictures of it.
Otherwise...!
The town flag is so beautiful. 8)
AND THEN LANDEL WAS DEFEATED BY A PITFALL. GOOD END??
But let's visit some townsfolk before we call it quits.

Since I put the Damned smiley in as a design in the Able Sister's shop, a lot of my townies picked up the design as clothing during the month. So I called them unofficial patients of Landel's. There weren't many that got in on it, unfortunately, but poor Roald was one of those that did...

Poor Chevre 8( I'm sure Landel is thinking of many events to happen soon...many fun safe events..... (and hello there Ginga's wall ew)

Great entry! It was fun to read, and now I want to make my own Landel's Doyleton in an Animal Crossing game. xD

Yes good, everyone should want Genderbent Landel......I meanIt's okay, he'll get used to it. Or maybe he won't, but oh well~. 8)
Go for it!! It's really fun (if not a little frustrating if your catalog isn't complete), and it would be cool to see what you come up with! /o/
