This one was posted on Plurk a while ago, but I feel it is an accurate depiction of Soma's current social life.


I realized somewhat belatedly that I'd never actually drawn the Living Dead Girls Club, Soma's first friends ever in the Institute, so this is my attempt to fix that mistake! Also, good job, Soma, for being the only girl without your actual clothes. Maybe we can fix that this year.

OKAY UH this was the result of an ill-advised conversation with Madred where we tried to figure out how the Once-ler and Soma could still get around during Nightshift while injured, it is ALL HER FAULT
 

AND FINALLY my humble contribution to the one of the greatest hatemances these walls have ever seen.

I remember that conversation about the Once-ler and Soma's wheelchair!! That's totally awesome. Also, Loki and Soma's BFF picture is priceless.

AND. THAT GIF. THAT. GIF. IT IS A FLAWLESS THING. I LOVE YOU, IRENY. I can't stop watching it. (I love how Loki's first note is topped "Dearest Scar". I love the little heart Loki signs his name with. I love that all of his notes are clearly just pre-written responses. I LOVE ALL OF THIS, CLEARLY.

a;kjfdkfajfd I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT :D Loki's pre-written responses was honestly just like...an exercise in not wanting to animate another hand writing things, sob. And then I was like WHAT IF HE DOESN'T NEED TO WRITE IT.

From an animator to an animator: Yup, totally guessed that the pre-written thing was just "blargh, more hand movement drawing NOPE" because I have definitely done that. SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. Loki would totally be able to just predict the stupid shit Scar would fling at him. :')

If animating wasn't such a horrible, tedious process, I would make a whole video devoted to the misadventures of this hateship.
