Night 67: PORTAL RANDOMIZATION REQUEST POST (Important!)

YOU MUST MAKE A COMMENT TO THIS POST EACH TIME A PARTICIPATING CHARACTER/GROUP GOES THROUGH A PORTAL DOOR. READ UNDER THE CUT FOR NEEDED INFORMATION.

In order to keep things as organized as possible, we're asking that all event participants use this system WITHOUT EXCEPTION. If it ends up not working or if NPC mods/players would prefer tweaking the details, we'll work it out as we go through the night.

FOR YOUR GROUP'S FIRST RANDOMIZATION REQUEST:

1) A representative for your group fills out this form:

Group: [ list of characters in group ]
Area: [ your current area ]
Thread: [ link to thread; can be a simple URL copy paste ]

2) The representative posts this form to the entry.

3) An NPC mod will notify you of the area you have received and tell you if you receive a Home World roll. (NPC mods, you can just copy paste the line you get from the master list, sans the associated number.) They will also notify you of any extra information you might need for a particular area. YOUR SUBJECT LINE FOR A HOME WORLD SHOULD READ: "Night 67: Home World - [name of home world/general area]". ANY REQUEST FOR FURTHER INFO SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE HEAD MODS ON THE MAIN EVENT POST.

FOR ALL SUBSEQUENT RANDOMIZATION REQUESTS:

1) A representative for your group REPLIES TO THE GROUP'S FIRST REQUEST REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE BEEN RANDOMIZED THUS FAR with only a link to your current thread (again, can be a simple URL copy paste).

1B) If your group gains or loses party members, you must re-list the group members in your current request post.

2) An NPC mod will reply with the area you have received and notify you if you receive a Home World roll.

Basically: what we're hoping is that, BY ALL GROUPS HAVING THEIR OWN THREAD AND RE-POSTING TO THEIR OWN TOP COMMENT, we will a)reduce clutter, b)make the requests easy to scan, c)save groups from repetitive listing, and d)nix the need for subject line labels. FOR THE SAKE OF THE NPC MODS, ANY COMMENTS THAT DO NOT ADHERE TO THE THREAD ORGANIZATION LISTED ABOVE MAY BE IGNORED.

ALSO, NPC Mods, you may respond to players with any journal you want (personal, character, nurses, monsters, etc.), since we know that logging in/logging out/reloading can be a hassle and we want to make sure this goes as smoothly/quickly as possible for everyone.

In order to further clarify how this should work, I'll reply to this post with a sample string of comments. (Shh, just ignore that I mostly used LJ URLs instead of DW ones. It's 2 am, okay ;;) WE KNOW THIS IS ALL KINDA WEIRD, SO IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS, PLEASE DIRECT THEM OVER TO THE MAIN EVENT POST. ANY QUESTIONS OR SUPERFLUOUS COMMENTS MADE TO THIS POST WILL BE DELETED.
