Not a hiatus, but maybe slower posting

My mom's getting over a bout with pneumonia, and early this morning she had an allergic reaction to one of her medicines and had to be rushed to the hospital. I wound up getting... not much sleep, since I didn't go to bed until reeeally late, and will probably spend the day taking care of her since she'll need someone to drive her to the doctor's to try to figure out which medicine it is. So I may be too out of it to really post much for a day or two... sorry. She should be fine, she'd been recovering well up to now and the allergic reaction was taken care of right away.

On the plus side, she got an Epi-Pen... those little anti-allergy emergency injectors? They're full of epinephrine... that's med-talk for adrenaline. I have never used recreational drugs before, but this thing fascinates me. It's not healthy. XD;;; (If I'm wound up now, how crazy would I be then...? No, I won't really do anything with it. XD; Just thinking. Yeah, I got like no sleep.

I'm glad to hear that she's getting better! Allergic reactions are not cool at all. Good luck to her!

And as for the adrenaline...my guess it would probably make you really shaky, your heart rate go up and other unpleasant side effects. I mean, that's what I would think considering what epinephrine does to the system. =O

Allergic reactions can be scary...I had one at night awhile back, and your body just going nuts really confuses you for a time...anyway, best of luck and I hope she's better soon!
