An idea?

So I had an idea about shift extensions. Couldn't catch ye mods on AIM so I'm popping the question in the lounge. UM SO.

Since you guys are going to AX, you said something about making the shift that AX falls into longer as necessary. I know it's a pretty long con (not sure how long exactly) - but why not extend both breakfast and post-breakfast shift a little bit instead of extending one a lot? Like we'll have a little longer breakfast and a little longer post-breakfast, instead of a normal breakfast and a SUPER DUPER ANNOYING LONG post-breakfast shift.

Does that make sense at all? *is horrid at explaining things* I ran the idea by the chat earlier and they agreed that would be a good idea. I know a lot of us twitch a little bit when one shift gets really long.

Unless AX is shorter than I remember hearing it was. In which case ignore this post completely, it's late and I'm feelin' wacky.

*subliminal* Watch One Piece.

Hmm, yeah. We'll probably shift change on Thursday night, since the con goes Friday - Monday. Does that make sense?

I also think longer breakfasts are good, but only because I love breakfast with all my heart and soul.

*subliminal* Also, watch One Piece.

Hitsugaya says NO MORE BREAKFASTS!

::whines:: I can't take the wangst!

[identity profile] usoppsenchou.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Then he should have HAPPY BREAKFASTS! Celebrate the tiny pancakes!

[identity profile] whiteychan.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
...are you implying he is some sort of CHILD or something?

Because he's NOT, you know.

REALLY.

I want some tiny pancakes..

[identity profile] usoppsenchou.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
You don't have to be a child to enjoy happy tiny pancakes! ♥ And if you don't do something because it's childish, then that's showing you're afraid of being considered a child, so therefore he should assert his adulthood by outright reveling in tiny pancake joy.

Mmm, tiny pancakes. Uh, I mean One Piece. .... and pancakes. >.>

[identity profile] whiteychan.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
But he is afraid of being considered a child, so thus, your logic fails tragically!

Oh, and by the way...I nearly died of laughter with your vampire thread on the bulletin.

one piece of tiny pancakes?

[identity profile] usoppsenchou.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 09:34 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but because he's afraid of being considered a child, he makes it more likely for himself to be considered childish! See? It makes perfect sense! Or it did a minute ago...

XD; *lol* I'm glad. Usopp is practical minded!

Pirate Kings need tiny pancakes too!

Woot!

That always reminded me a bit of a rule in Narnia. The whole "Dude, you don't eat the ones that talk!"

[identity profile] usoppsenchou.livejournal.com 2007-06-27 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha ha. Luffy's stated also that he doesn't eat "hard workers," too. Otherwise, anything is game! >D ... so to speak.
