So there was some interest put into this idea and I've wanted to do it for a good long while now, so here goes. I hereby announce...

The Landel's Damned Friending Meme

Basically, it works like this. Ever talk to a fellow Landel's Damned player in IM/chat or RP with them and think they're really neat, but you've never gotten the chance to ask if they want to friend with you? Well, here's your chance. Just respond to this post with your personal LJ username and the characters you play at Landel's Damned. Then, other people who might want to be your friend can comment like "FRIEND ME PLZ?" and everyone gets to be happy and friendly and cool. And we get to be more tight-knit and awesome!

Of course, this isn't mandatory. If you don't want a ton of people requesting to be your friend, then simply don't comment. It's as simple as that. I know not everyone is completely and utterly social, so it's cool, man, it's cool.

If you're confused, I'm sure some people have done friending memes before, so watch and learn!

On a side note, I'd like to give a big WHOA NELLY at the fact that the Arts & Crafts thread got over 600 comments. You guys rule!

Actually, at Old Landel's? Like, way, way back when at original Landel's, before I had even joined as Scar and Court and Fey were there? There were an Alucard and an Anderson. And they were gay. Eventually. Once they got over the fact that GIANT SQUIRRELS COULD NOW BEAT THEM UP.

T_T oh my god See, I had the untranslated Japanese volumes of the manga for a while that I would just pore over, and I was so disappointed with the horribleness of the Dark Horse translation that I decided not to buy it, but then I was flipping through my Japanese copy of volume 7, and I suddenly realized OHMYGODEVILVAMPIREWALTERAHHHHHHHHHHHH?????????? So that's what made me go and read the scalations. 8D AND I NEED TO READ MOAR.

We need a Hellsing group. Bad. ;_; If it weren't for the fact that I CAN'T HANDLE MY CHARACTERS AS IS, I would ttly take one up. 8D

OMGGGG. EVILVAMPIREWALTER MADE ME DIE A LITTLE INSIDE. AND INTEGRA IS ALL "OH, I SEE HOW IT IS. :[" *flails* Is the Dark Horse translation really that bad? I never saw the raws/fan translations until I sort of ran out of Dark Horse translations. THEN COURT SHOWED ME THE WAY TO THE LIGHT.

Incidentally, she has an Alucard muse. And if there was a Hellsing group I'd ttly join as someone. PIP. Curse you responsibility. D:

Yeah, it REALLY bugged me that they tried to textualized all those icons when, realistically, they'd just be SPEAKING IN THEIR OWN DAMN LANGUAGES ANYWAY, SO WHY BOTHER? XD And it made it really difficult for me to get through, and it also made it way harder to actually take the characters and plot seriously. :/ For me, at least---I have a friend who loves the accents. XD

YEAH. DX NEED TO READ SCANLATIONS. I think you might be further than me. XD;;; UGH I WANT TO GO FIND THEM NOW. >:B

HAHA THE ACCENTS. I love the accents. It fits with the Nazi vampires invading England. It probably doesn't bother me because I read them that way first. XD

Walter's design in that...I think it's actually WORSE than Alucard's (in terms of 'ohgodmysidehurtsfromthefunny'). Because Alucard is quite obviously a powerpuff girl.
