Quotes + Meme

So, since I'm actually not 1) busy, 2) at work, or 3) sleeping, I updated the quote journal! Only a week and a day late. Sorry about that. Quotes are here and the next submission post is here. Also, the profile has been updated. Go me!

And as to not spam the lounge, a meme that floated around the journals a couple of months ago, but I can put it here too.

Ask the character(s) anything, and they will answer. Perhaps not honestly, perhaps not politely, but they will answer. Here's how it'll work:

To volunteer your character(s) for answering: Post a comment listing any and all characters you're willing to take questions for. Nightshifters and Doctors can be listed as well.

To ask a question: Find the thread for that particular character, and ask away. Any questions are allowed. And feel free to converse with the characters after they've answered.

Kadaj--any preferred methods for killing Elena? I'm sure you've given it a lot of thought...

Light--Kira has the ability to kill all he deems "criminals."

So why are there so many politicians still alive?

(My boyfriend asked THAT question. I just wanted to know what it was like to be handcuffed to Ryuuzaki.)

... Hmm. Aside from carving her face off, you mean? I'm beginning to wonder if I should try amputating something, but then there's the possibility that she'll bleed to death, you know? Unless I cauterized the wound right after she received it, but then I think she might end up passing out or going into shock, and it's not nearly as much fun if she's not fully aware of the situation. If I had some materia with me, I could have a lot more fun, but...

Let's just say I'm still undecided, shall we~? Besides, Lina hasn't actually thought about it as much as I would have and therefore can't really answer this question satisfactorily anyway. She's utterly miserable that way, isn't she?

Politicians have remained untouched because their status is such that any action taken against them can be taken the wrong way very, very easily and start a chain reaction that will turn public opinion against Kira. It's too early to take that course of action without seriously damaging his reputation. If Kira is to succeed at all, the best way to do it would be to gain the support of politicians rather than give them the impression that they're under attack. Doing so would make them feel hunted and paranoid, not to mention ruin any chances of them trusting Kira and accepting his rule without secretly preparing for a revolt. Either that, or Kira has and it's just been off-screen.

As for what being handcuffed to Ryuzaki was like, it was... an interesting experience, but not one I'd want to repeat unless it was to prove my innocence again.
