So! First of all, I would like to thank everyone who participated in Oktoberfest! We had a nice turnout, and I personally have quite a few of them that I want to read but haven't gotten the time to look at yet. I promise I will once I'm not drowning in schoolwork. In the next few days we should toss up a post that lists everyone who is eligible for the prize and then said people can comment and claim said prize. If there are details to be worked out, then we'll do that too.

Secondly, we have decided to push back the date for the next application period to December 15th. There's a very simple reason for this: NaNoWriMo. A ton of you guys are doing it, and we originally had it set for apps to open on December 1st. Just a little cruel, we figured. 8D This will also mean that I won't be trying to read apps during my finals, so it's a win-win situation!

Therefore, we will start accepting letters requesting extra characters around November 15th. So those of you who are hoping to take a fifth/sixth/whateverth character, keep that in mind!

I think that's it. I just want to put in a quick note that I apologize to those of you who I'm threading with for being slowish. It's the drowning in schoolwork thing again. :| KURSES.

I'm doing NaNoWriMo! XDDD Ahaha... I figure if I manage 10k words it'll be my best attempt to date... I at least like to say I'm trying it! (With half the month gone to my honeymoon? Pffft.)

But OH MAN. DX MAKING ME WAIT LONGER? ARGH. Nah, I understand. (My plan to beat out the other NaNo participants is foiled. FOILED, I say.)

There is no way I would have the time for it. I've never tried it, and I'm not sure I'll ever have the time to. DX Fail, serious fail, but... ahh well!

IT'S ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS. That much more time to perfect an application!

The heck's NaNoWriMo?

And NO! I have to go back home after finals and away from my computer with the app on it! My finals end three days shy of the 15th, and I'll be stuck in a place that probably won't have an easilly accessable computer aflajdf Florida! until I have to go back to school!

NaNo is National Novel Writing Month. Where basically, the aim is to write 50,000 words in a month ^^;

Court, how the hell is it that you go to school later than most of us and yet your finals are in the beginning of December? >/

BUT YES I'm so glad you're pushing back the app. date. DX <3 Not only do I have NaNo to worry about, but my finals fall around the same time, so this is a huge relief for me.

Because my school goes by quarters instead of semesters! So we have three quarters (fall, winter, spring) of classes, each which last ten weeks. There's also summer quarter, but that's obviously optional.

I have a dumb question, what if we have a char that is deadlocked in the head (such as James) who I cannot get to move or do anything with. Is it possible to drop that one and still app for one in December?

Yup. I wanted to drop him since I'm just wasting him when someone else could app him and do better. I had wanted to apply for either Nagi of WK or a different char that I could click better with.

As of now. I haven't been able to do anything with him. I am so sorry, Court. It's just anytime I try to rp him, it comes out flat and stilted. He's a great char and all, but I'm just not right for him.
