Well, I think Cliff would be a bear. A big fierce one when he has something to protect, but more interested in fun the rest of the time.

Yohji, and this is horribly cliche, would be a cat ^^; One of those cats that turns up every few days when you've no idea where it's been but it still looks well fed and you know it's been conning half the village into pampering it ^^; But it can still hold it's own in a fight ^_~

Argilla would be some kind of snake, I think. Very pretty to look at, but get on her wrong side and she'll eat you :D

Rangiku is probably also a cat. One with really odd moods. Very affectionate, but you know that at night she's out catching mice and terrorising the local dogs ^^;

Luxord would so be a ferret. :( One of those mean, bitey white ferrets that hiss and scratch but they're too fun to annoy to leave alone, despite the fact that they really, really want to be by themselves. He'd be the ferret your momma would never let you buy because it would only be affectionate when the sky turned orange and the earth spun in the opposite direction. And because it kept trying to go down your cleavage.

Daniella would be the psychotic clone of a bali myna. Pretty and capable of imitating human speech, but the second you said the wrong thing, she'd be flying and pecking and scratching and spewing non-nonsensical... nonsense. She'd be the crazy bird that would continuously slam her head into the cage bars if you got a prettier pet and squawk like no other. She would attack the other pet and try to steal its ovaries, because that's how Daniella rolls, even as a bird. :(

Dias would be a wolf. Lean, probably either a dark color or a muted grey, definitely battle-scarred. LONE WOLF, obviously - no pack. :D

Schuldig would be a fox, obviously. A streetwise one that's able to scratch out a living anywhere, in the wild or around people.

Saïx would be a large, muscular dog breed - something like a Newfoundland, only with thicker, shaggier fur and far more vicious. Imagine a cross between a wolf, a bear, and a Rottweiler. :D Something that could seriously maul you.

Waka would be...hmm. I think he'd be a peacock. :D Either that or an eagle. Something birdlike, certainly, but I can't decide if he'd be more appropriate as something flashy or something deadly.

I would say coyote for Schuldig, personally. Because they're incredibly adaptable and tough, they do scratch out a living in the city very well, and they're not as shy/twitchy as foxes. ^^

Coyotes have a shameless boldness that really reminds me of Schu. ^^ Some of 'em will just walk right into your house if you let 'em. They'll confront people walking their dogs, sometimes, and even stalk small children.

The mangaka has stated Luffy is most like a monkey, and I'm gonna have to agree. I mean, it's in his freaking name, and he has really cute monkey-like mannerism sometimes and yeah. xD;;

Claude would be, uh...I don't know. I guess a big, floppy-eared pure bred dog that could win at dog shows. But he'd rather do stuff like play fetch, get scratched behind the ears and hang out with his stray mutt friends. :*(

As for Obi-Wan, he strikes me as cat-like type of character. I tried to come up with something original. One of those cats who's kind of aloof and goes =_= at you all the time, but can be affectionate on occasion.

HK is an irritable cat that acts as if it's the best thing there is and will scratch the hell out of your ankles, but give it some nice food and it will decide you make a perfect slave to its wishes. But still claw you sometimes.

Recluse is quite obviously a spider... Although alternating between one of those huge orb weavers that has a habit of making webs precisely calculated so that you'll walk right through it... And his namesake--the recluse spiders and their relatives--which quietly lurk in dark corners, seemingly innocent until one day they take a chomp out of you and you're left with a necrotic wound.

TK... I can't decide. Probably a doberman or some similar dog breed that is ferocious as hell to anyone seen as a threat, but will give you big puppy eyes if its done something bad. And will act like a completely adorable but hopless little dope if it gets confused.

But if he wasn't a wolverine, he'd be a small but very ferocious wolf, extremely loyal to the pack, but woe betide any who tried to threaten him or his. Could probably be trained as a guard-wolf, I guess.
