Second Opinion time!
Now that all the apps are in and the late app period is over, it's time to start searching out people for second opinions. If you aren't sure what this all about, go ahead and read the mini-FAQ over here.

If you don't see a fandom on this list, it means that Erin and/or I are already familiar with it or that it was so obscure that we felt it didn't warrant a second opinion. Also, there might be some on here that we kind of know, but not comfortably enough to judge solely.
All personal information on the applications will be completely cut out when we send them to the second opinion givers, and all comments to this entry will be screened.

What happens if you pick me to read an app?
We will contact you via AIM or e-mail and tell you which applications we would like you to give your second opinion on. If you're cool with what we're asking you to do, we'll forward the application(s) to you once we have made sure to remove any of the applicant's personal information. (This includes name/handle, e-mail, AIM, roleplay history, and answer to the optional question at the end.) Thus, you will only know the applicant's identity if they publicized who they were applying for in the lounge.
Once you have read the app, you must either discuss it with us in AIM or send us a reply e-mail with your thoughts on it. Be aware that if you suggest rejection and if we agree with you, we might quote you (anonymously) and/or use your rationale when we explain our reasons for rejection in the e-mail to the applicant. Same goes for if you point out power problems or reasons for revising a section of an otherwise acceptable application.
Also be aware that all of your reasoning must be well-founded and unbiased, and that although we will take your opinions into strong consideration, we still might disagree in the end.
Two important things here:
- Once you read an application, you absolutely may not tell anyone in the RP that you were chosen to read the application, nor may you discuss the contents of the application with anyone other than the mods. This is to protect the privacy of both the applicant and you.
- To avoid bias, we will absolutely not allow anyone to read the application of someone who they're buddies with or someone who they encouraged to apply. If we aren't aware that you're friends with the applicant of the character that we have you critique and you don't let us know our mistake, there will be consequences. (Same goes for if you and the applicant have a bad history or... something. D:)

EDIT: Since there seems to be some confusion over this, we're going to clarify: This post is directed ONLY towards current members of the RP; if you are not yet an officially accepted member of the RP, please do not comment in response to this post. Additionally, while this is made pretty clear in the "avoiding bias" section under the above cut, allow me to reiterate: No one may read either their own apps or apps sent in by their friends or people they encouraged to app.
