Fail and Hiatus

Hokay. So. Midterms + Stupid Theatre Teacher Giving Us Only Two Weeks To Put Together One-Acts + Fail + Flu + Computer Not Working + General Crappiness = unhappy Alex.

I have been slow and on semi-hiatus for the past week or so, this is just making it official. I will, however, be back before visitor shift two, come hell or high water. (No way I am going to miss out on a minute of Alec's mental scarring, tee hee.)

A comedy of errors is what it is.

First... the vid store didn't have it so I asked the library for it. I went to the downtown branch to get the only version of the novelization I could get (book on tape). It's a really bad reading, and I'm still working through it. It is literally on cassette tapes, and side 2 of tape 1 is unusable.

And the movie, which I finally got into my hands on Friday, is a VHS tape. We don't own a video tape player. I borrowed one from a friend's mother and watched the movie yesterday.

THE BOOK ON TAPE IS PURE EVIL IN A CAN. o_o;;

Yeah, side 2 doesn't work on any of the tapes since you need a bookcassette adapter, which of course you can't even find on The Great Garage Sale of the Internet. I figured out some way to listen to it properly, but I forgot how to do it now - that was years ago. xD; At least you can watch it now...

You mean they're ALL like that? And the horrid accents are almost as bad

Yes, we watched the film again. I've never watched a Bond film where I started off in sympathy with the main villain though Alec has horribly sick taste in henchwomen.
