Canon for Kikyo: They killed him off. He barely had a chance to develop! ;___; But the good news is, he gets to come back in later drama CDs to haunt Aya in his dreams.

Canon for Malik: I'm kind of not-so-enthused by the watered down version of his character post-Battle City. I liked that high maintenance, bratty side about him. X)
