Well, I joined a crack RP comm elsewhere, and they have a wiki where character information, universe information and other such stuff is stored.

I'm wondering - wouldn't a wiki be a great system to have around here? That way we can easily look up information on a character, and the backstory/character interpretation of the user.

I like this idea.
Because I get soooo lost with some characters o.O and I get curious, but I'm too intimidated and then I just sort of curl up like a hedgehog.

That's a very good idea actually :D With all the different fandoms, noone knows all the characters running around in Landels! XD That way, you can at least know with what kind of person you're dealing with! XD

I think I'm the only one in the world who finds the wikis (except for the actual wikipedia) annoying and slow to load/navigate ^^; But that might just be my connection... or something. I prefer some post in the OOC comm or a floating one in mod journals, myself. We have required profiles in Landels, so perhaps it would be best to add something to the profile?

I like the idea of a wiki, too. :D While profiles are a handy place to put info in, I didn't elaborate on Obi-Wan's backstory as much as I could have 'cause it probably would have made my profile this long, scrolling piece of text. xD;; But a wiki would also be handy to know if you wanted to see if, like, other versions of your character had been played in the past and stuff.

Then again, I can say all that 'cause I don't know how difficult it'd be for someone to set up an actual wiki website for Damned. I'm not too terribly computer savvy, so I honestly have no idea. xD;;

Sounds awesome. Wiki's pretty quick and easy to use, and it would be a hell of alot more easily navigated than trying to cram everyone's backstories into one post. On top of that, it would allow for constant editing, so that current condition and relationships with other people could be added and updated. I am totally for this idea.

I like this idea too. :D I've been sort of randomly adding shit to the one OOC entry in Kadaj's journal, but I have still managed to completely avoid actually writing and form of backstory or other stuff about him. I am just that lazy awesome. A wiki would definitely be more preferable to that, and having every character have their own thing would be awesome.
