As someone who's never contributed to a wiki before, I was wondering if anyone would be available to explain things to me. This is kinda important since I have Dias, who as the sole representative of his fandom means I'll get to type up all sorts of info about his world on top of his own character information. I say this like it's an obligation, when I know it's not, BUT I MUST DO IT. Besides, his fandom's obscure enough that people need as much reference as I can provide!

Then there's Schuldig and Zell, whose fandoms I am not alone in representing, which means that Yohji- and Squall-mun and I get to coordinate in terms of fandom info, and I'm not sure how that will work but it'll probably go a lot smoother if I have some idea of what I'm doing. 8D

Anyway, all that said - what are people actually looking for on the wiki? Fandom info seems pretty obvious - details about the world of the fandom and perhaps a quick summary of the storyline. And character information is also a no-brainer; personally that I'm especially looking forward to, as the lack of character profiles to reference is probably the only thing I've ever found lacking in Landel's. It's especially sucky when you play a telepath who's supposed to know a lot more about the characters he speaks with than I do. IRONICALLY I HAVE BEEN USING WIKIPEDIA TO LOOK THAT INFORMATION UP. Monster and staff information also makes plenty of sense, and most of that can probably just be quickly c/ped into the wiki. But I'm wondering what, if anything else, the mods are specifically planning on implementing, and I bet a lot of players have cool suggestions, so I'm curious. Personally, I have a very vague idea for a reference of which characters are allies or enemies(or, in Schu and Yohji's case, both simultaneously), although I have no idea how that would work or if it'd really be useful enough to bother with.

Well, my Yohji history I did in the app was pretty damn thorough (I had to read the damn drama CDs! They broke my brain!) so if Schuldig ever needs any information on what Yohji's been through since the end of the first series, it's on the journal atm.

In the Nanoha fandom it's often best to simply consider the drama CDs to be suggestions about what the canon could be like lest one come to serious psychic harm.

Unfortunately, even though the Weiss drama CDs are crack of the highest order or, often, depressing as all hell, they are for the most part, canon. And provide the only explanation for why the hell Gluhen (and Gluhen Yohji in particular) is so messed up, because the series explains nothing at all about many things like all the random people who turn up, why Yohji is so fucked up and why Ken is now quite psychotic.

Of course, a couple of them are just pure WTF-ness (not so different from the first series really then, what with the spine stealing and all).

Like Schwartz on a speedboat. With missiles. And Farfarello's girlfriend.

Oh yeah, and Schuldig and Crawford's ex.


Really, in the end, I can take all that. It was the whip-sword weilding twins and the taxidermied Takatoris which did me in.
