Since there are less than two weeks left until apps, and everyone needs the reminder that oh crap, LESS THAN TWO WEEKS UNTIL APPS, it's time for everyone's favorite meme:

Who are you apping this cycle?

Or who are you still deciding between, since I know people are still trying to pick. Mostly it's a chance for us to squee with each other, and also offer moral support, encouragement, and human souls. (And if you app one of the guys in the icon? You will indeed get souls.)

To have a little fun with it, if possible, post a picture of your character instead of giving the name. I know it's not always possible, but don't feel left out! Book characters are love too! Try and keep the images small though, for people with slower connections. No more than 300x300 would be ideal. You can also give a factoid or too, and relish the fact that no, you are not alone in this apping cycle of doom. Others are there with you.

And the point of it all is of course, to have fun!

Oookay... I've actually got a pretty long list, since I've been thinking about this for a month and a half waiting to be able to apply, and particularly because I reeeeally want to get in and start playing with this group (I'd probably lose interest if I were to wait another 3 months ¬.¬).

Although, in all honesty, I'm probably just going to app this guy:

Mmmmyep, just like I mentioned when I did a little "hiya!" post in the lounge in May, I'm thinking of Forte/Bass from the Megaman games. My only concern is that there's really not much canon at all, nor does he have much personality in his appearances. So, most of his personality as I'd be playing him is inferred from his (few) appearances in the games. Particularly since he's been one of my favorite characters from the original series for years.

Second after that, would be some characters I thought of because I saw their canon-mates:

Because, well... he's awesome. I'd probably pull him from about the same time as Zuko, so I don't have to worry about the finale. It would of course be fun to have canonmates, and be from a series more people are familiar with than MM, but I would also feel a bit more pressured to play him well XD Also, I just think it would be interesting to have Aang freaking out about not being able to save the world again.


Just because I saw Mousse, and Ryoga was one of the more interesting characters (between him and Forte... notice a pattern developing?), at least before everyone got stuck in character-development hell. He's almost constantly in a state of despair, as he cannot find a cure for his hotsprings curse, or be with his love, Akane, and has even devoted his martial arts training to the Shishi Houkoudan technique - a technique that is powered by the user's feelings of depression and anger. He'd probably take most of Landel's in stride, actually, and only be motivated to protect defenseless (female) patients, or to escape to get back to Akane.
Okay so I just wanna see him and Zoro team up to try to walk down a straight hallway with no side-doors

And now, we're getting into characters I want to mention because they're so cool, and I just recently found them, like:

Black Whirlwind and Kang the Mad, from Jade Empire! Because that game has so many awesome side-characters. Blackwhirlwind is just a big, lovable, ax-wielding psychopath who's happy doing whatever, as long as there's drinking or fighting or better yet, both. He'd probably have to be sedated every dayshift >.>
Kang the Mad is an ancient chinese, celestial, sorcerous... mad scientist. He makes things fly and makes things explode, and most of the time on purpose. (sometimes he can even do one without the other!) He's just fun because of all his weird beliefs and quirks (like how he insists that when his flyer designs are used to make hundreds of copies, it dilutes the original and makes them all weaker as a result). Plus, he (as well as Black Whirlwind) has a surprisingly interesting backstory, for what seems like a just a wacky side-character when you first meet him.

So... yeah, that's my list of wannabes, (I told you it was way too long!) and while I said I'll probably end up apping Forte, I'll take any suggestions, especially if people think I'd have a better chance of getting in with anyone else, or really wants to RP with them. Because I reeeeally want to get in with this app.
