Wanted: Bulletin Wench or Wenchette

Okay, not really, but bear with me here.

For those unfamiliar with Avatar: the Last Airbender, Toph Beifong is blind. She has a unique method of getting about and kicking your ass, but in the case of reading and writing, she's about as adept as a turtle on a pogo stick. Thus, on her own, she is without access to damned_bulletin.

This is sadly becoming a problem for me as a player. For one, Toph has to rely on word of mouth for her information, a difficult feat when it comes to communication with another character. For another, (related to the first) I have to rely on chance circumstances when it comes to nightshift plans. There's more, but I'll keep this succinct.

Basically, I'd like to request a character (patient, nurse, doctor, donkey, etc.) who is willing to meet with Toph at the beginning or end of dayshift (preferably end) to go over messages on the bulletin. Not everything on the board has to be relayed to her vocally nor would they have to get together every single dayshift, but the job may require some dictated notes and light bedtime reading.

Let me know if you'd like to volunteer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

She's got definite lunch plans, but I think that's it, and she has multiple reasons to check the board a lot. Does Toph need someone to suggest it to her, too? ^^ Because yeah, HER asking for help... uh huh.

Ack, looks like Toph is booked for anything but lunch so perhaps next dayshift for a meeting? She hasn't had this suggested to her yet so if she hasn't by then, Skuld (or Hokuto) is free to point her in that direction. 8D

Yay, people with bulletin board issues unite! Ophelia's illiterate, as the Bride found out at breakfast. So she's going to be having a fair bit of trouble in that arena until she can track down someone willing to teach her how to read. XD

Well, I don't fully understand the language laws, but from what I can gather, Kio would teach her Japanese, because that's his main language. Ophelia would hear him in whatever language the Claymore people speak, but she would read and write Japanese. XD

I could be wrong, but I do believe everybody speaks and writes the "same" language in Landels, regardless of what it would be in their canon. I think I remember mods getting after people for speaking secretly together in languages others couldn't understand... that or my memory sucks (and boy does it). Either way, it'd be worth checkin' with the mods.

Well, you have volunteers here already, but I just wanted to mention the love for Avatar. I've started S2 now and OMFG I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOPH :DDDD. Also, it is strating to bug me that I want to app two different characters now. From 2 series. And just.... grah.

But ahem, yeah. Totally an Avatar fan here :D
