I'm heading off for the Land of Absolutely No Internet (read as: the mountains of Minnesota) right about, uh, now. Thus, I'm calling a hiatus until I return, which will be Sunday evening (depending on how late I get in) or Monday.
Serey and Emi:
I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) that I'll have some internet tonight while I'm still in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area before heading north, but if there's no sign of me by, say, ten o'clock pm PST, it's a safe bet that I didn't manage to get a connection. After that point in time, feel absolutely free to NPC shuffle Kaito around. Assumptions you can make: Kaito will nick a ball-style Nerf gun from the toy store, whatever appropriately-sized balls (squishy or not) he could for ammo, and displays generally excellent aim. He will probably grab a bat for backup (ammunition isn't unlimited, after all), but he'll clearly be favoring the gun. If anyone needs to question his gun usage, you can assume Kaito either dodges the question ("Can we talk about this later?") or deflects it ("I've always had good aim" / "Point-and-shoot isn't that hard" / etc.). Serey's got my number, too, so if I have cell service up in the mountains (I'd give it a 50/50 shot; it's been a long time since I've been up that way, but I can't imagine it doesn't have cell coverage by now) you guys can always text me any questions 'bout what to do with Kaito.
If I go into town at all, I might be able to get some internet at the library, but I wouldn't count on it happening. But just in case, don't be surprised if I suddenly reappears for one post before vanishing again.
