Update for the Pale Man!

So, I have gotten my hands onto a little thing called the Pan's Labyrinth DVD, ut the one with all the special crap. You know.

In it were DVD comics on some of the creatures that appear in the film. As a consequence of seeing the one on the Pale Man, I have done two things:

Screen-Caps of the Pale Man's DVD Comic

Unchanging
He doesn't have the gold dagger--I assume miss Ofelia still has it, or the Faun, and consequently, he "died" and came to Landels. He's got his sword and his appetite still.

The Question

How innocent is your character? That, rather than age, will determine how inclined the Pale Man is to go after the character. Those characters with an awful lot of sin probably won't appeal to him at all, but of course, it's all a matter of perspective... Let me know!

Jack ([livejournal.com profile] killing_suzie) is so not innocent it that he people lose their innocence just by looking at him.

Susan ([livejournal.com profile] is_god) is a Russian pessimist. So... er... not innocent.

Renji ([livejournal.com profile] stray_shinigami) isn't innocent either, I guess. I mean, it kind of depends on what you mean by innocent. He's definitely gotten his swerve on, he spends his time back home picking fights (for fun, not malice) and redeeming Hollows. But he's also the world's biggest idealist, an optimist, and deep down (not that he'd ever ADMIT to it out loud) he loves children and small animals, believes that love is worth fighting and dying for, and pretty much follows his heart in all things. So he's really like a big, fluffy goober with a [VERY] thin veneer of asshole as a protective coating. So, your call. :3

Is it because of Jack's SHINY TEETH?

His teeth are made of sex.

HOT, BEAUTIFUL SEX. WITH ALIENS.

Hitsugaya's not all that innocent. He's pure, that is to say he avoids doing evil except when it comes to ichimaru, but he's been through a lot of muck in his life.

Besides, I don't think it's possible for someone who's around 130 years old and deals with bullshit politics everyday can be all that innocent. :P

Miku has never done anything to be considered 'impure'. But she has witnessed things that are not so pure. But, physically as pure as the driven snow~!

[identity profile] transgenix.livejournal.com 2007-06-02 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Max... is totally not innocent, haha.

Kenken = not innocent. He's an assassin, he's been killin' people ded for a good while, and for a time he enjoyed it. He still has thoughts like that sometimes. He'll nearly beat people to death, break limbs, etc. He killed his best friend, the woman who basically raised him, and his girlfriend (granted they were all Evil but still.)

So yeah. :D He might be a nice guy, but he's not pure by any sense.

Pff, if Luxord were claim innocence, the world would implode on itself.

George, on the otherhand, I'm not so sure. She IS a Grim Reaper, but it's not like she chose to be one. But she did accidently cause the deaths of over a hundred people nationwide for altering fate and letting one guy live. :x SO YEAH.

I've got an assassin (Omi, [livejournal.com profile] daddyslilkiller and a genocide (Hakkai, here). Not so much innocence going on, nope.

Protoman hasn't done much to harm people, but he also tends to stay aloof when he could help people if he thinks they need to fight on their own to become stronger.

I guess he's fairly innocent, although he has a lot of angry thoughts. >

Er...

Hisoka ([livejournal.com profile] somber_secret) wouldn't really be called innocent... but then again, I'm not really sure how to define him. xD; I think I'll let you decide. For one, uh, he was raped and then slowly tortured over the course of three years by a curse until he died. Before that he was kept in the cellar for every time he demonstrated his 'demon-like' qualities. After his death he became a shinigami and he killed a girl (all the other people he merely just guided into death.) SO YEAH. Basically he's extremely jaded, hates promises, is extremely pessimistic and his only reason for living is revenge with a side dish of Tsuzuki.

...that went on forever.

As for Naoya ([livejournal.com profile] entropy_effect), he's seen things (like memories of people killing, raping, etc.) but he is the epitome of innocence and fluff. Bon appétit. xD

Uhhh...this is a bit tricky.

Yazoo's killed and tortured others. That includes setting a whole slew of Shadow Creepers on a crowd of innocent men, women, and children. I'm not really too sure what to think, though, because he did it all for Jenova. So, he's not innocent, but then again he is because he just wanted to save Mother.

Hope that made sense. ^^ If you need me to elaborate or anything, let me know.

Elena - Innocent? Maybe. She's definitely naive.

Hikaru - A lot more innocent than he's willing to admit. He can be a jerk at times, but he's usually not MALICIOUS about it. Well, lately, anyway. Back in middle school, the twins were bastards to just about everyone.

Kenshin - No, probably not. Hitokiri Battousai's kills during the Bakumatsu numbered in the hundreds, and while he's always seeking to atone for that, you can't undo the past.

Let's see...

Ichimaru Gin? Not that innocent. Though he wasn't the mastermind behind everything, he still committed treason against his own. He tends to lie, or really just tell half-truths a lot as well. But yeah, definitely not innocent.

Allen Walker - Depends on if you ask him or someone else. Allen blames himself for his father's death, but he was a child and couldn't have stopped it. He's honest, self-sacrificing, most definitely a virgin. His only major sin is cheating at card games.

Ed Elric: Hmmm, well, he's done some bad stuff like ressurecting his mother, killing Greed, joining the military, condemning Al to life in a suit of armour and he is a walking angst bucket. But at the same time, he's still quite idealistic at times, and he does what he thinks is right, albeit grudgingly. He can also be fairly naive.

Yohji Kudoh: So not innocent. He's an assassin who sleeps around, usually ends up killing whichever woman he develops feelings for and betrayed his team.

Kenren Taisho: Also not innocent. For starters, he's guilty of breaking the law that Gods must not take a life, he's been involved in political schemes for quite a while and is no stranger to sex.

Matsumoto Rangiku: Yeah, not innocent either really ^^; She grew up in some of the worst parts of Soul Society, has had to cleanse Hollows, goes on mad drinking binges...

Byakko: Hmmmm, he seems fairly innocent to be honest, but I'm not sure how you can stay innocent for several thousand years. He's very idealistic, can be quite naive at times, but he has killed before, has no doubt slept with people before. So yeah, not entirely innocent either.

Ravi probably isn't innocent? >> It's likely that he's seen a lot.

[identity profile] theheirshinra.livejournal.com 2007-06-02 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately, none of my are all that innocent. Bast is crazy but smart and evil minded. Rufus is pretty much his people and screw all others. James is a murderer already even if he doesn't remember it. Sephiroth wants everyone dead. Dang. Pale Man would terrify Bastie though.

[identity profile] personincharge.livejournal.com 2007-06-03 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't consider her innocent, and she definitely doesn't think so of herself. She was the leader of a group of supernatural psychos, she's killed more than enough people in the name of war...

But on top of that, she killed her husband because the anonymous mysterious group controlling her country told her to, and let that same group take her son away from her at birth. And yet she continued working for them.

She also betrayed America, the country run by that group, even though it would mean being killed by her most loved disciple and going down in history as a war criminal. This was also under orders by that mysterious group she has a strange loyalty towards, as it was actually for their benefit.

On the bright side, she likes children? :3

OH SHI-

Dean ([livejournal.com profile] thehellismycar) has committed murder twice; both due to the demonic possession of a man and woman. He killed the woman by exorcising the demon (her body was broken and the demon was all that was keeping her alive) and he shot the man in the head because the demon controlling him was beating Sam (his brother) to a pulp. Other than that, he has killed a number of supernatural creatures. I don't know if that'd count.

Fuu ([livejournal.com profile] seizethesun) has been exposed to extreme violence, but in terms of her own actions she is innocent. She would be the more decent of prey out of these two, I feel.
