Update for the Pale Man!

So, I have gotten my hands onto a little thing called the Pan's Labyrinth DVD, ut the one with all the special crap. You know.

In it were DVD comics on some of the creatures that appear in the film. As a consequence of seeing the one on the Pale Man, I have done two things:

Screen-Caps of the Pale Man's DVD Comic

Unchanging
He doesn't have the gold dagger--I assume miss Ofelia still has it, or the Faun, and consequently, he "died" and came to Landels. He's got his sword and his appetite still.

The Question

How innocent is your character? That, rather than age, will determine how inclined the Pale Man is to go after the character. Those characters with an awful lot of sin probably won't appeal to him at all, but of course, it's all a matter of perspective... Let me know!

...

Wow. None of my characters are particularly innocent/pure/holy/whatever. At all. Kimbley's a psychopath, Crawford's a megalomaniac, Chase's an evil overlord, and Caim's ... uh ... well, he's kind of insane, but in a stabby way. Which is totally different than normal insane. Really.

Let's not even get into Pyramid Head, but he's not really someone the Pale Man would go after anyway. I bet they play poker though.

:( And I wanted him to look my way, too. Well, at my characters. Man, I always play the older creepy men ... why can't I play innocent little girls? That's what I am. (Well, not so much with the innocent. BUT I DO TRY.)

PHead vs. Pale Man vs. Psycho Mantis vs. Daniella. Daniella always wins because she has the ultimate poker face. Always.

But PHead has NO face. I'm pretty sure that trumps no facial expression. ^^

Well, he twitches a lot. And by a lot I mean all the time. But you might be right. Then again, how can he see his cards ... ?

He sees the evil in their SOULS. The King of Spades? TOTALLY evil.

I just pictured Pyramid Head setting his cards very carefully against the screening on his helmet. "IS THAT AN ACE OR A TWO."

"Do you know how much it stings to get a papercut on your eyeball?"
