So that life thing has hit, and it means I'm generally slower in posting. A lot slower. I am so sorry to all those I'm threading with! I'll try to make up for it since I'm off the next two nights, and currently have no plans though it could change. But tonight I believe is one of the nights where I have to work, meaning I probably won't be posting tonight either.

But let's see, let's see... most of this has both Fandom AND Canon doing the good ol' ONE-TWO PUNCH. FUCK YOU BOTH. NOMURA WAS PROBABLY DRUNK WHEN HE WAS MAKING THE PLANS FOR KH2.

Axel's just a trainwreck of horrible horrible things and it mostly started when KH2 came out. DX I loved him in Chain of Memories because he was cunning and two-faced who acts dorkishly cool whenever he's feeling the heat. He felt really omniscient to me since the player got to see how he was controlling a lot of the factors that was going on in Castle Oblivion. /shameless fangirling

And then came KH2. He lost almost EVERYTHING that I liked about him. Sure he was still a dork, but he became overly predictable, disappointingly weak and pathetically obsessed. I stand my ground in saying that Roxas was the root of all problems, and reduced him from something incredible into a wibbling fan-servicy woman. Of course his popularity increased DRAMATICALLY (and when I say this I mean it. I only knew about 4 or 5 other Axel RPers beforehand) so whenever someone pays more attention to quantity, the quality definitely shrinks. Oh sure the fanart is a nice upgrade, but everything else... eh.

If there's one thing I detested in the canon it was Axel's constant use of 'GOT IT MEMORIZED?!?!'which lead everyone else to believe that it's completely IC of him to repeat it once every 3 seconds. Always. Always. I swear, every other Axel journal I see has 'got it memorized' stamped on the username. HAHA Yeah Yeah I know I'm at fault at the 'bond of flame' bit. I know I'm not perfect. T_T

A lot of people here know that I do like Axel/Roxas a lot (Roxas/Axel mainly) but it tends to lose its charm whenever I see them riding naked on the ceiling fan without any real explanation. Fandom usually doesn't do a good job with explaining btsks, but that spans across almost every fandom I know. Every time Axel's either some wibbly school girl who follows Roxas home every day because he's so KAWAII DESU NE~ or some obsessed rapist. Or a drugist, you can't forget that stereotype.

You know, I've heard from a lot of sources that people actually REJECT Axel appers in some RPs that don't have any interest in sticking Roxas up the pooper. I've actually seen one or two of these RPs too, and it's just... just...

Yeah I should stop talking even though I can go forever.
