So that life thing has hit, and it means I'm generally slower in posting. A lot slower. I am so sorry to all those I'm threading with! I'll try to make up for it since I'm off the next two nights, and currently have no plans though it could change. But tonight I believe is one of the nights where I have to work, meaning I probably won't be posting tonight either.

I'm very very sorry Kaze/Emi/Mika/Callie/Rose/SubZero-mun.

i'm going to go with kairi on this one. she is pretty much the most hated character in the KH fandom, anyway!

well, let's see. what has fandom done to my character? if you've heard of kingdom hearts, chances are you have heard of the sora/riku pairing. chances are, if you speak to a sora/riku fan, they will then proceed to tell you that kairi is a "slut" and a "whore" and gets in the way of their love. according to fans, she is the reason why sora and riku cannot prove their love to each other, because she is in the way. (i speak from personal experience. people have full on told me this to my face when i said i rped kairi.)

now, the people i'm really close to know i have a bad history with the hardcore sora/riku fans (yeah, i was almost kicked from an rp because one of the players didn't like kairi -- they played riku, btw --. i wish i was kidding.) the fact that the fandom goes off to call kairi a whore for no reason is just plain questionable, considering the fact that she hasn't even kissed a boy. the only one she showed actual interest in was sora, and that was so slight that it could just be taken in as a friendship way. the interest clearly grew in the second game, and yet it was there that also made the fandom explode. anyone remember the whole "sora crying for riku" thing? people then proceeded to take that as a sign that because sora cried for riku, it meant that he clearly did not like kairi.

thankfully, i have met some sane fans. but because of the bad, i am still wary to this very day.

and what has canon done? KAIRI HAD THE BIGGEST HEAD IN THE seriously.

Oh lord, they're the kind of people who make me feel ashamed for liking yaoi -_- I like Kairi! I like Namine. I tend to like (or at least, not hate), most female characters in fandom, and then people like that make yaoi fans look really bad *sighs*

yeah, some people just ... make everyone look bad and it's sad. :[ the kh fandom has a bit of everthing. bad yaoi fans, bad het fans, bad yuri fans. cesspool of crazy.

They do. And it is sad. Geesh, especially when people have to bash other characters to make their pairing 'work' (despite the fact that, y'know, Riku/Sora is never ever gonna' be canon in a million years).

This is probably why I've never gone into KH fandom despite enjoying the games ^^;
