I thought it had been a while since this was done - a couple rounds? Two or three? Anyway, I thought we could do it again, cause I know people like to play with the fact that some characters will sound similar due to their voice actors.

So: List your characters, the voice actor you connect with them (whether dubbed or original if from a video game/anime) and other notable roles they have done if you wish.

This is always fun. For example, I love that fact that L and Usopp share the same Japanese VA.

Heh, sounds fun--! Now let's see here-- Mion's English voice (Kelli Kassidi) hasn't done much yet apparently (she's actually quite good tho *A*) but there's not much I can say about her soooo leaving her out. Also, she's being played by Asuka Rin in the live action movie that should be out... at some point.

I always associate Tenchi with his English dubbed voice. I just love the inflections the guy does. Top notch, in my opinion. Hasn't done much though.

Sai (needs_a_bond) - Hino Satoshi
Sadly, Sai's seiyuu doesn't do any voices for any of the series represented at Landel's. T_T His other roles can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Hino).

Leon (word_of_death) - Mitsuhashi Kanako
His english VA in the game was a random kid that played that role and no other ever. The seiyuu listed is from the Star Ocean EX anime. Kikyo was voiced by the late Shiozawa Kaneto. He's one of my favorite voice actors of all time. ♥ Notable roles include D from the first Vampire Hunter D, Aries Mu from Saint Seiya, and Iason Mink from Ai no Kusabi.

Malik is voiced by Iwanaga Tetsuya, who had been in a lot of other animes, but I....actually haven't seen any of them! XD;;;

Rena's (kaerutokoro) Japanese VA is Nakahara Mai, who also played as Naminé in KHII and Rena (LOL) in .hack//Legend Of The Twilight. I refuse to recognized her English voice (although the English VA does a remarkable job elsewhere, i.e. Yamagishi Fuuka of Persona 3). The English voice really grates my ears...and that's saying quite a bit since I normally like dubbed voices.

Ken's (rectifies) Japanese VA is Ogata Megumi (Haruka in Sailor Moon S, SuperS, and Sailor Stars) while his English counterpart is voiced by Mona Marshall (Kite/Azure Kite of .hack, Izumi Koushiro of Digimon, little Ichigo in Bleach, Niklas/Roger S. Huxley/Robin Wind of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time). I tend to lean more with his English VA.

Oooh, Furusawa also played the wonderfully twisted Ayame from Weiss Kreuz. ♥ I thought it was rather interesting that he spoke with a lisp. I had to go look up his other roles to see if it was him or his character Ayame. (it was his character!)

The voice actor I'm connecting Junior with is Brianne Siddall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brianne_Siddall). I'm not too familiar with most of her work, and the link has the list if you're interested. There is one person that I find of interest, though: Mithos from Tales of Symphonia. He and Junior's voices are identical.
