1) ANONYMOUSLY post a pairing/character/monster/whatever and a prompt.
2) ANONYMOUSLY fill as many prompts as you want.
3) ???
4) PROFIT.

Same rules as last time. At least one character in your prompt must already be a character in the game but other than that..go wild. 8D Try to fill as many prompts as you request. This isn't a rule but it's a nice thing to do to keep the meme alive.

An archaeologist claims he found some gold coins dated 46 B.C. Do you believe him?

Riddles had never been the swordsman's thing, especially when they came from giant monsters that could talk. Those usually attacked. He'd almost attacked this Sphinx-whatever as well but had stopped because it had stared talking. And now it was wanting them to answer weird questions? What was with that? A fight would have been much better for settling things. "Ah...?"

The Sphinx bowed its head to them, "You have five min--"

"No," Luffy blurted before the creature could finish, "I don't believe him."

"WHY ARE YOU ANSWERING?!" Zoro screamed, but it was already too late. His captain never was able to keep his mouth shut when it really mattered. It was Luffy that had gotten them into this whole mess in the first place with agreeing to take this things stupid challenge!

I any event, Luffy did not need to be answering riddles!

Luffy looked at his first mate, pouting, "I can't believe a "him". Robin's our Archaeologist, and she's not a him. So, I can't believe him!"

"THAT'S YOU'RE LOGIC?!" Zoro's mouth dropped.

The Sphinx was oddly annoyed with being interrupted and turned a haughty eye down at the one who'd answered. "Is that your reasoning, human?"

Zoro looked up at the beast, tensing, then gave Luffy a pleading, but commanding look, "Take it back, Luffy! Right now!"

"Why should I?" Luffy cocked his head, "Do you have a better answer, Zoro?"

"No, but whatever I come up with is going to be better than that!" Honestly, Zoro hadn't the slightest idea how to answer the riddle, but he was dead serious with what he was saying. There was no way the beast was going to take the logic of his idiotic captain as a proper answer! No one would take that!

The sphinx might have felt some sympathy for the green-haired man if it had honestly cared for human interactions. As stood though, its only concern was the confirmation or denial that the smaller human had all of four minutes to present. "I am not patient, humans. I only present the time limit to be fair. However, as you have given an answer, unless you claim it as being final soon, I will decide it as such and conclude this test based upon it."

Zoro did not like the sound of that. Unless he did something, this things was going to take Luffy's answer! "Give us a minu--!"

"Right, that's our answer!"

"Luffy?!?!"

The answer was confirmed now. And though half of it was accurate, the reasoning was wrong. For that, there would have to be a punishment. "Incorrect," it said simply, then began to move from its position, rising up upon its strong legs and looming over them.

"What? How's that not the answer?" Luffy protested, completely baffled that he'd been wrong.

"THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW, YOU IDIOT!" Zoro roared, knowing that Luffy'd once again driven them into another tight spot. The way out was blocked, and the Sphinx creature's composure had changed. Zoro could feel the tension in the air and the amount of blood lust now flowing before them. He heaved an annoyed growl and readied for a fight, mentally swearing to throttle his captain for this later.

Why did this always have to happen?!

(He will somehow manage to answer 15 questions incorrectly, make the Sphinx twitch in irritation, and raise his bounty by 100 Mil Beli get his nakama killed within the span of one deep breath. It's, like, Law.)

If that doesn't change her mind about going down to the basement I don't know what will... :|
