Any member of the groups below may make a general threading post for their respective waiting room like it were any other shift. Also be aware that the character's player should be the one to initiate the thread, not the NPC-er!

So, that hiatus lasted a good two weeks longer than I expected (don't ever try to go halvesies on internet with a neighbor who's never home when you are), but everything's finally done.

I'll probably just pitch Teisel out into whatever shift starts after the current one, unless anyone wanted to thread with him.

So um, turns out the hotel lied and there was actually no internet (or at least, not at any price I could justify paying for the 20 minutes or so a day I would have been using it for), so um, apologies for not posting and missing the shift :/

Um, I know there's a couple of things I'm gonna' need to backthread for 2nd shift (Homura and Kenren and if there's any more let me know and I'll be happy to do that) and could people let me know if I agreed to plans during 3rd shift because my brain is alcohol and squee and long train journey fuddled at the moment XD

OKAY SO UM. I'm going to be nonexistent for most of this evening, until late tonight, and the same will probably be true of numerous evenings this week. So, moderately slow posting for this week in general. AND I will be gone to a land of no Internet from next Monday through Wednesday, but I might be able to go to the occasional cafe and post once or twice a day. So, extremely slow posting for those days. Also -- and this is a bit preemptive, but I'm just going to mention it anyway -- I'll be on slow posting AGAIN from the 30th to September 2nd, and then on full hiatus for a week after that.

And with so much awesome CR happening, too. Goddammit. *shoots self in the face*

slow posting/hiatus

I will be moving starting Wednesday, so I'm going to be on slow posting until then as I finish packing my things. After that, I don't know how long I'll be on hiatus. It might just be a couple of days, since the apartment has free high-speed wireless, or it might be longer. At any rate, I don't think it'll interfere with my visitors shifts too much, and I'm always willing to backthread.

This is Abe. Say hello, Abe.

In addition to being a geeky fishboy, Abe is psychic. He doesn't technically read minds, but he can determine a person's identity and nature by touching them. Here Abe's powers are drastically limited, so the most he can get off a simple touch is a few drops of essential information.

(He can also read the pasts of objects, but since I doubt anyone here is playing a toaster this probably isn't as relevant)

So, questions:

1) What is your character's core identity/nature/function/thing that defines who they are? (Example: Lawyer for Phoenix Wright, Tracker for Scourge)

2) Does your character have another form they identify with more than the one they have here? (Example: Hawk for Tobias, Giant Damn Robot for Lugnut)

3) Does your character have a name they consider theirs more than the one they commonly use here? (Example: Batman for Batman Beyond's Bruce Wayne)

4) Does your character have any ability to block/resist/sense psychic intrusion? Abe won't press the issue if someone tells him to bugger on out of their head, but he's also not used to this whole asking permission business. EDIT: A strong will won't be enough to keep Abe out, so this would only apply to people with powers, training, or other supernatural doodads of their own.
