Well, we didn't make you wait too long. Almost everyone has a roommate now. In fact, I think there are only two characters who don't. Considering we have three pending apps at the moment (either because we're waiting for a rewrite or they were sent in late), hopefully everyone will have a roommate soon.

So, go check out who your roommate is here! It is very possible that your character's room number changed, so check that and change your userinfo/Wiki page/etc. accordingly. I know it's a bit of a pain, but there was no way we could avoid switching things around some. Also, Erin photoshopped up a new room layout, so make sure you look at that, too.

Just so there isn't any confusion when dayshift comes around, for those of you who will end up writing intro posts for your characters first thing in the morning: If both your character and your character's roommate are new, just assume that your character's roommate is sleeping for simplicity's sake. This will continue with the intro posts made for shifts later in the day - if their roommate has already woken up, your character will see their empty bed. If their roommate hasn't yet been introduced, then they will still be sleeping.

So, what if your new character is roommates with a veteran character? (When I say veteran, I mean they aren't being introed this time around.) In that case, you'll need to check and see if the veteran character has woken up and entered one of the shifts already. If they have, then there's an empty bed. If they haven't, then that lazy bum is still sleeping.

Of course, there are some pairs made up of two veteran characters, and it works the same way. Whoever posts first - in this case, either to the Chapel or the Sun Room - can mention in their post how they saw their new roommate sleeping, and the one who posts second will see the empty extra bed and such. Also! This is by no means required, but as the characters get used to their roommates, if they somehow end up liking each other, they can certainly enter the cafeteria together for breakfast and such. You as players would just have to work that out with each other.

I understand there might be some confusion there - and strange things might come up, like two roommates getting introduced in the same shift, though hopefully that will be avoided - so if you have any questions or are confused, comment and ask.

Dayshift will be announced either tomorrow night or Saturday morning, so get ready for the floodgates to be opened. :D

Lastly, if for some reason you have a problem with your roommate (it has to be a real reason, not "I want someone cooler! D:"), then contact me or Erin via AIM/email.

OH. And to all of my character's roommates: HAY THERE.

So, quick question for my Saiyuki castmates so I'm sure. Do any of you remember Homura? Since, you know, he only died in front of 3 of you... :P

I'm guessing you all play mangaverse, which is fine, cause it means you won't. Kenren might be a bit iffy, since there was that one panel in Gaiden, but I'm open to Kenren-mun's thoughts on it.
